Two Tunics

This morning in the Love Book I found this: Luke 3:10-11
And the multitudes were questioning him saying "Then what shall we do?"
And he would answer and say to them, "Let the man who has two tunics share with him who has none; and let him who has food do likewise."
I think it's time to thin the tunics. . . and the food.

It's time to give more, to say, "Here, have this."

I was straightening up a bit this morning and this believing bear was stuck in the cushion. I had to readjust his sweater and give him a hug and a kiss. Well, he needed a tea party, too. Yes, and a tiny bit of candlelight.

Out to catch the morning light . . . "Hello, little house and thank you for shelter."

Thank you, BIG God for the sky - such a breathtaking backdrop for my small life.

Thank you for a leader who stood up against injustice and fought hard with dignity instead of violence.

Thank you for the old, for the tough bark resulting from years of being.

For a snowy path and a dear companion on a quiet morning walk, a good talk.

For bridges.

And for a powerful visit with one of YOURS.

Oh, good, good GOD of Love, I hear you knocking.

It's funny--my first thought upon finishing this was the word "lovely" and I see that's the word everyone else has chosen as well.

The love book is such an inspiration! I'm always a little envious that someone can come up with such creative a beautiful ideas to put in a journal! I know...I just have to BEGIN!

God is good! Thanks for a beautiful reminder, Pom-Pom!

I say there is nothing like a good "walk and talk," one of my favorite things to do. Your post is just like going on a walk and talk with you! Thank you for taking us all along. Is that Love Book yours? I'm very curious about it! xo Kari
