Pink Plans

The batter looked perfect but it slipped my mind that I haven't produced a pretty layer cake in a few decades. Ooooops! Pink cake plans result in crumbs. Still pink.

Cupcake candles three for the price of two - much safer.

My stomach is churning from too many cookies, too much Coca-Cola, and too much pizza. What am I going to do with my cake disaster? Pinkie Promise: No more pink food

Happy Pink Saturday! Sorry about the cake!

Yum. Botched cake always tastes good. Maybe you need to make a trifle with pink pudding? Okay...maybe not. Love those candles. Have a great weekend!

Hello, lovely to meet you :-)

I bet it tastes yummy anyway! I made some of the most dismal looking flapjacks last weekend - far too awful looking to share with anyone else, hahaha!

Love Charlotte

ps I want to make something pink now too :-)

My father always said that "mistakes" were the best tasting! Happy Pink Saturday.

Yes, that is our house, named Linderhof, in my header. It was built in 1920.

What a wonderful Pink Saturday post! I just ♥ the fact that each of us shares such a variety of items - that's one reason why this event is never boring. Always something fun, new, lovely or interesting around the corner.

Thanks for sharing a part of yourself today☺ Cold, gloomy day today but, as always, bright and sunny on the Pink Saturday blogs.

Happy Pink Saturday! Pom Pom you are a dear! You always such nice encouraging words to me (for which I am so grateful!). I actually think the idea of pink cake is wonderful, and why not pink cake? There should be more pink cake in the world! If it doesn't work out, though, you could just add pink fondant icing to a sponge. Love your pink posts!

Love to you Pinkie Pom Pom xxxx

I'm sorry the cake didn't turn out the way you had hoped, but I'm sure it still tasted good. Are your cupcake candles scented? They sure do look good enough to eat! I hope you're feeling better and that you have a wonderful and blessed weekend!

I remember I used to really love pink - there was a time when I had many pink clothes. I think you may be reviving my liking for pink, without me even realising it. I bought new shirt the other day. What colour do you think it was?

Your cakes look like mine! I can never seem to turn out a bundt cake or a layer cake without a mess. I say, eat the cake anyway....maybe with berries and whipped cream!
