In This Moment

In this moment I hear the hum of the furnace and I see the thick clouds of January just outside the window. My sweet niece is sleeping in the guest room, I've had my two cups of coffee and my mind is ultra-fuzzy. I'm not sure why. Left Handed Housewife talks about Morning Anxiety and I think I have a light case of it. Yesterday was cleaning, driving, in and out of the car, cooking, eating, talking and talking - like I was in the middle of a crowd, carried away, feet hardly touching the ground. So, now it is quiet and I'm going to try to keep it that way. We'll go walking along the canal, maybe drive around a bit, eat a pretty lunch, nap, that kind of stuff. I love the picture of Kelli's cat (Wilbur) above. He is so fat that he can hardly fit through the cat door, and he is adorable. He doesn't do much. Today, I'm going to be Wilbur.

Last night we ate cupcakes and I must give Betty Crocker a lot of credit. Cupcakes for breakfast - queen's food.

Laura is delightful. I am inspired by her heart for Jesus. She's so good.

And these little ones. Moving tomorrow to their new town, new home, new church community. I'll miss them.

Thank you so much for showing Laura the great sites of CO. She is having a fabulous time. Miss you both. Love the pictures. You are the best sister and Aunt. Thanks again for your tender loving heart.

Your snow still looks pretty Pom Pom. Like the sound of your walk. Sundays are the perfect day for relaxing, reflecting, recharging those batteries for a busy week ahead. Take care sweet Pom Pom

Did you have a fun "Pink Saturday"?

Have a good week

Cupcakes for breakfast ought to take the edge off of morning anxiety--that and a good walk and maybe reading poetry. I read Jane Kenyon when I'm feeling especially anxious, in case you were wondering.
