In this moment I hear the hum of the furnace and I see the thick clouds of January just outside the window. My sweet niece is sleeping in the guest room, I've had my two cups of coffee and my mind is ultra-fuzzy. I'm not sure why. Left Handed Housewife talks about Morning Anxiety and I think I have a light case of it. Yesterday was cleaning, driving, in and out of the car, cooking, eating, talking and talking - like I was in the middle of a crowd, carried away, feet hardly touching the ground. So, now it is quiet and I'm going to try to keep it that way. We'll go walking along the canal, maybe drive around a bit, eat a pretty lunch, nap, that kind of stuff. I love the picture of Kelli's cat (Wilbur) above. He is so fat that he can hardly fit through the cat door, and he is adorable. He doesn't do much. Today, I'm going to be Wilbur.

Your snow still looks pretty Pom Pom. Like the sound of your walk. Sundays are the perfect day for relaxing, reflecting, recharging those batteries for a busy week ahead. Take care sweet Pom Pom

I have to agree, cupcakes for breakfast are definitely queen's food. Hugs
I hope you are getting the day off today? I'm picturing you all cozy with your coffee and a book. I hope! xo Kari
Cupcakes for breakfast ought to take the edge off of morning anxiety--that and a good walk and maybe reading poetry. I read Jane Kenyon when I'm feeling especially anxious, in case you were wondering.
