A Quick Cuppa

"You can't stay in the Forest waiting for them to come to you, you have to go to them sometimes."
Well, that's what Winnie the Pooh says anyway and I must agree with him. Don't you know many people who have started blogs and posted a few times, then they get tired of the "no response" and abandon their writing endeavors? Maybe that is why journaling isn't more widespread. . . no response. I delight in reading blogs as much or more than I delight in posting. I like "knocking on your door" like my sweet friend Aisling says and I poke around your blogs for inspiration and peace. Keep posting. I will read.

However, because I have to rush to get ready for school, I would like you to sit with me for a short time and have a cup of tea.

After that, let's sit down and color for a while. Let's draw paper dolls.

We can play with my birds. They all make a sweet little sound. They're waiting for you to hold them. Oh, I love the communion of souls and this connection we have is miraculous in the Pom Pom Book of Important Stuff!

Tomorrow is Pink Saturday, so brace yourself for a funny dose of pink. I love this weekly pink dunking. Beverly's Pink Saturday offers up a lot of fun and inspiration.
I hope you have a happy, peaceful day. My niece is arriving tomorrow. She is 23, a middle school science teacher, and an AMAZING young woman. I can't wait to sit with her, listen to her stories, walk with her, introduce her to my grands! Today after school, it's rush, rush, rush to the grocery store and then home to plump the pillows, freshen the guest room, tidy and mop, and plan a much anticipated encounter with someone I love. Yippee! See you tomorrow for PINK!

Thanks for the visit, Pom Pom. I was happy to see your nest of birds; I don't have any of my own but I have given many to various grandchildren. They are the dearest. And I love coloring, but rarely do that, so thank you again.
Hope your day is going well already.

How wonderful you are going to have your niece for a visit. I have a sweet niece who is more like my daughter, and I would love, love, love to get to spend the weekend with her. She is fun and loves to sew, and talk and cook and sew and, well everything I love to do, too. Wonder where she gets that? MMMMMM!! Have a great time and I'll see ya for Pink Saturday for sure.

I would love to have a cup of tea from your Winnie the Pooh teapot! And what fun to sit and color. I still enjoy coloring. I love when we visit the grandkids and get to color with them.

Hi Pom Pom, just popping in for that promised cuppa. One question, do you actually have anything else pink to photo, after that amazing number of pink things last week? Look forward to seeing whatever else you have found!

I remember when I first started my blog and how discouraging it was when no one commented. Lucky I persisted or I wouldn't have met you! Have fun with your niece!

It sounds like you have a fun weekend in store! Squirt would adore your birds! She has the loon and he goes by the name of (no surprise) Looney. She's squeezed him so much his call sounds a little odd these days, and his little leather beak is not so leathery anymore :o), but he is well loved.

Blessings!
