A Puff of Happy

A quick post before I dash off to school (I'm going to be late - yikes!) because I found a lovely quote by Lord Byron this morning and my reading of Proverbs 27 was also spot on.
"Be thou the rainbow in the storms of life. The evening beam that smiles the clouds away, and tints tomorrow with prophetic ray." ~ Lord Byron
Isn't that a sweet little prompt for the day? Be a rainbow.

THIS came in the mail yesterday (along with something else LOVELY that I will share with you on Pink Saturday)! I like to pick up sticks and make crosses so this book whispered, "Buy me, Silly!" when I was browsing on Amazon. I think it is going to be very sweet and special, all lined up with my creative pursuits.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, dear hearts! May you feel a swoosh of SPRING!
BIG LOVE xoxo

I love that, 'make me a rainbow'. Every morning I ask for help to bring a bit of light to people's lives today and the rainbow thing is prettier.

Hope you weren't late!

That is a great quote and I am going to save it in my quote book. It also reminded me of this hymn...

O Joy that seekest me through pain,
I cannot close my heart to thee;
I trace the rainbow through the rain,
And feel the promise is not vain,
That morn shall tearless be.

Thank you for the puff of happy!

That looks like a very interesting book. I wonder how many ways there are to make crosses?

Hi, PomPom,
I love the beautiful verse by Lord Byron!! Your new book looks very interesting, too. I am so longing for spring. A few of my daffodils are starting to peek out of the dirt! Hope you are having a lovely week, sweet friend! Vicki

I would love to be a rainbow. What a great word picture.

I'd love to see more samples of making crosses. I love them too and saw the prettiest one in AZ. The wood of the cross appeared to have turquoise in and through it. Then there was the poem "One Solitary Life" underneath the cross. Really lovely.

What a beautiful quote ~ I am going to take it to heart! Teaching children about rainbows was always such a wonderful journey of discovery. And I love how children so often draw rainbows in their pictures, too. Thank you for scattering rainbows! xo Kari
