Hi, Everyone! I hope this Friday finds you well and feeling very TGIF-ish! Last night it rained and then God gave us the most gorgeous rainbow. We ran outside in the rain so I could show you!
This morning as I was drinking tea and looking out the window, Reve strolled by with her granddaughter and stopped in to say, "Go take a picture of my morning glories! They are glorious!"
So, as you can see I tromped over to her house in my pajamas and took some pictures of the blues so blue!
Look at these berries growing inside my forsythia bush. Reve ate one. I'm glad she didn't die. We don't know what they are!
Something is chewing on leaves in all my flower beds and I think it just might be that big moth. Gumbo Lily told me that it was a pandora sphinx moth and it is destructive! Yikes!
My heart skips a beat when I look at Jeff's tomatoes. Aren't they miraculous?
And I want to give you a peach. Here. Take it. Eat it. Let the juice run down your chin. Enjoy the sweet taste of a fuzzy peach that God made. Simple pleasures and simple gestures of love make me like you and you like me. That feels good.

I love the look of your blog and your new header! Oh my goodness, I am so glad your friend didn't die from eating that mysterious berry! Tell Reve to stick with the peaches! Jeff's tomatoes look sooooo much better than mine. My tomatoes are sad and so am I. ~love from tx
those red berries look like something we get in woodland in the uk which is poisonous, I think it's known as 'lords and ladies'... hope that isn't what you have there. Your morning glory is lovely, we get Autumn glory which looks like yours but has white trumpets - the blue is much better I think. We have golden sun cherry tomatos, very sharp and delicious. Betty x
I can ID those balls and wicket as croquet! We love to play it in our own yard.
The tomatoes are looking good. I wish for some ripe ones right now, but not yet. I hope those caterpillars aren't eating your zinnias and other flowers. Keep a watch for a fat, green caterpillar.
Happy Friday!
Jody

I miss the rains here in Dubai.. we have very little of them..
Hi PomPom,
As you know it's been a Travelin Summer around Texas for me and not much Travelin in Blogland. I hope you'll forgive me for not visiting with you as often as I'd like.
Just got back from another camping weekend with the Grands, Son and Wife. The wind blew and kept it cool, but no time in the boat on the lake. Great time though...ready for some home time.
Thanks for the peach...Sue
Your morning glories are glorious! I'm so sorry I didn't plant any this year. We gave the space to some very unruly black-eyed susans which are getting the boot at the end of the summer.
