A Tiny Bit of Pink

ten reasons I like lambs:
1. they grow up and share their wool so I can knit
2. they are beautiful.
3. they follow
4. they don't mind looking exactly like other lambs
5. they are completely dependent on their moms
6. Jesus liked them, too
7. they have sweet voices
8. their ears are soft
9. they make cute plush toys
10. they turn into sheep and I want to be a sheep

ten reasons I like ice cream
1. I never feel remorseful after I eat it
2. it is so nice and cold
3. it comes in pretty colors (like pink)
4. it always looks perfect in a pretty bowl or in a cone
5. it is served at birthday parties and I like birthday parties
6. it's sort of good for you
7. ice cream trucks mean summer
8. it begs for hot fudge
9. it makes memories
10. you can eat it even if you don't have teeth

Happy Pink Saturday! Visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound if you need some pink today! (BIG HUG!)

I like sheep......and ice cream too. I especially like #6 on the ice cream: "It's sort of good for you." If it's not so good for your body, at least it's good for your soul!

You are funny, PomPom! You made me laugh with reason #10 of why you like ice cream. I love ice cream, too, and when the kids were little we used to eat it for dinner on Sunday nights....shakes, sundaes, you name it. I should do that again now that it has warmed up.

One of our worship leaders writes great songs, but especially great kids' songs- one is "I just want to be a sheep, baa baa baa baa, I just want to be a sheep, baa baa baa baa, 'cos they're so..." And on it goes with verses like I don't want to be a Sadducee, 'cos they're so sad, you see!!!! I think you and he should talk! I'm saving one of my mini crumbles for you, Pom. Book flights!

Hi Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and what a beautiful pink you have to share today. OMG I love your little wooly sheep. Just so precious. They follow and obey? OMG, I had not idea, no wonder they followed Mary to School in Mary Had A Little Lamb. Jesus did love them didn't he? Many stories of the precious lambs.

I too love ice cream, and I never thought about people being able to eat it, even if you did not have teeth. How fun is that? Love the little ice cream cup, and yummy looks like strawberry to me. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing with me.

I signed up to follow your blog. I can't wait to see what you share next. I love meeting new people, sharing with others and learning new crafts. I would love for you to sign up to follow my blog as well if you haven't. I love having new friends to visit with. Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

I love lambs too! In August and September the fields around my house are full of lambs. They bounce with joy and even try and climb things. But the best thing is when they snuggle down together for a nap and one leans his little head on the other one's tummy, and the light streams through their pink ears. So beautiful. I often stop to admire them.
P.S I'm so glad you love my birds. That makes me so happy x x
