Granny's Easter Weekend

Hi! I hope you had a wonderful Easter! Do you like this funny bunny? I found him at Safeway! I didn't buy him - I just happened to have my camera in my purse!

Friday we went up to Ft. Collins to see Brad and April and the kids. April and I had a few moments to sneak off to the yarn store. I thought you might like to see the wonderful stash at Lambspun.

Bill and Brad worked in the yard. I remember when Brad was itty bitty and helped Bill rake pine needles in Spokane, Washington. Now Brad lives in a house so much like that family home. So sweet!

Granny's girl!

Granny's little prince!

Granny and Poppa's #6 arriving in May!

Sam came over Saturday night and Sunday!

Birdie likes chocolate bunnies just like her grans!

Miss Bug didn't mind carrying the pumpkin bucket. Where did I put the Easter baskets?

Birdie has become a pro at finding eggs!

We got to hear Pastor Brad preach on Good Friday. Oh, this mama is proud.

It's been a VERY busy weekend and I am a bit apprehensive about the long school day tomorrow. I am so spoiled and out of shape after two weeks off. Two more months with the eighth graders. I hope to savor them. I have to admit, my heart is yearning for summer when I have time to goof off and grow flowers! I hope your Easter weekend was full of love and family and I hope you have a happy week.

It was a wonderful Easter Weekend and Easter Day! Such a pretty day to spend with the Son, DIL and Grands. So, did ya buy some Yarn? Cute pics of your Grands! Back to school, huh...summer will be here before you know...the 8th graders need just a bit more Prep to be ready to become Fish!

Pom Pom what lovely grandchildren. I love the carrot bunny. We are having a holiday in Florida this year - and I am looking forward more than anything to shopping in Walmart and the American stores for crafting materials! you seem to have so much choice - we certainly don't have a yarnbarn in the UK!

Bon courage- the Sunday night blues are nasty! I get mine on a Tuesday night because I teach Wednesdays and Fridays- but nobody is ever sympathetic at that stage in the week when their work is all up and running! What a fabulous family you have- it's like all those OT verses about children and blessings! My word verification is cling! Our pastor's word is cleave- to Christ, to the church- maybe to your eighth graders (even if I don't actually know what that is!)

I am your newest follower! I had to make myself stop reading and go back to work! I found you through your comment about crochet hooks to CC at Lace and Ribbons.

What a lovely family you have! I love the Great-Pumpkin-Easter-Egg basket! And that little white lamb sniffing the plastic Easter eggs. And those wonderful paper crosses in your last photo. Oh, it will be summer soon. The last two months have a way of flying by. xo Kari

I'm back! And what good timing! It looks like you had a delightful Easter Sunday! We had rain rain rain here in Oregon, so the egg hunts were nearly all canceled. :-(

Hello, dear PomPom, I loved seeing your family. Your grandchildren are so beautiful! I couldn't help but giggle when I saw the pumpkin basket. I didn't have enough baskets for our Easter hunt so we had to use grocery bags!! I know how hard it is getting back into the swing of things at school. I can understand your longing to be able to garden and relax. Have a lovely week, my friend! Vicki

What a wonderful Easter celebration you had with your grands. Looks like it was fun. Did you get any more chocolate bunnies to munch?

Love the yarn pics. Wish I could do something with yarn besides turn it into knots. I'll just watch all you fabulous knitters and crocheters do your thing.
