Goodness

Isn't this pear as pretty as a poem? I have eaten three pears today. They are so sweet, soft and juicy. Heavenly.

My friend made me a bracelet. It's so delicate and "busy" in a good way. I find myself looking at it all day long.

Pretty soon, there might be a gnome in every room of our house. Do you think I could make a gnome sunhat?

I'm watching the first season of Lark Rise to Candleford and it's a treasure to savor. I'm going to stay up late and watch it AND do a little hooking with my basket o' colors. It's raining. Bliss.

Pretty bracelet, ones like this are popular in the UK at the moment. It is lovely when you can wear something somebody made with you in mind I think.

The pear does look heavenly. We have a friend with a peach orchard about an hour's drive from us. He also has a few pear trees. We used to try to go every year and pick our own peaches and pears, but we haven't been for a few years. Maybe we can go again this year. It is so wonderful to wander among the trees and pick your own fruit. It's almost Friday! Hope your week has been a good one!! xo Kari

Pom Pom,
I love pears too and would eat them like cookies if I had enough of them. Love the bracelet too. Very much my "style."

You mentioned looking for a good sun hat. A friend of mine suggested the Wallaroo hats (Australian). I think you will like them! Lots of great styles. http://www.wallaroohats.com/

Mmmm...that pear looks and sounds delish! I want one!!! I have the Lark book but have not read it. I am hearing people mention the movies but have no idea what it is about. I thought about you the other day when I was at our Kroger and saw the mushroom and elf that you bought. :) That was fun!

Oh my goodness I didn't know you could watch Lark Rise to Candleford! I love that book and have read it several times! Is it a TV series or a movie? And yes, you must make a gnome sunhat!
