Smiles

Granny Camp is over and now it's clean up time/rest time for tired Pom Pom.

We swam!  The sun was shining.

We ate waffles.

We grocery shopped.

While Cadence had a sleep over with cousins Bird and Bug, Uncle Jeff and I took Finn to the movies!  Extra fun!

Auntie Kelli helped with all the fun and Millie LOVES her cousins!

Lots of smiles in this family!

If you like to wear princess dresses,  come play!

No princess business for Finn!

Crowns, too!

Time to tidy again.

What do you think of my fake flowers festooning the entry way?  I'm very pooped today.  I had so much fun with my grands and I'm so thankful, but I am glad I was such a youngster when we had our kids.  I had a lot more verve then than I do now.  My plans are lazy until Bill gets home tomorrow night.  Grannies have a lot more leisure time than mommies.  Guess what?  There is one more grand on the way, due in January!  Bliss!  Happiness! Eight grands!  Thank you for checking in and thinking of this tired granny.  Now back to quiet, house mouse doings.  LOVE!

You wore me out a little bit with your narration of granny camp. lol! It sounds like the very best kind of fun, and the best kind of mellow, happy, tiredness follows. I'm excited to hear your news of another grand baby on the way. What joy!

love and hugs,
Aisling

You are such a great and loving Granny! The kids had soooo much fun! They were pooped too. They all fell asleep soon after we got on the road and slept well all night. We ate "beautiful cheerios" this morning.:) Hope you have a relaxing Sunday!

What a grand grammy you are!! It looks like lots of fun was had by everyone :) What memories they will have of their time with you and with their cousins. These are the days that bind family together, aren't they? Now, make a cup of something, grab a calming magazine, and nap :) You deserve it!

Sounds like a lovely, if exhausting weekend with your grands. By the way, i love the first photo you posted - could be a gingerbread house.

I see you have your little birdie photo hanging in the last photo. I haven't framed mine yet but intend to soon. Glad you had fun with your kiddos. Now rest!

Oh, you had so much fun. Aren't children such a delight? Just think of the wonderful memories you helped make. Grandmas are so important in children's lives. I say that not because I think I am so special, but because I have such wonderful memories of my own grandmother and learned so much from her. We just have to pass on the good stuff we know. And yes, we need more rest at the end, but a good rest well earned.

oh what fun, I didn't think you would have a great big swimming pool all of your own! only the rich and famous in my part of the world have one! Your house looks all cosy and I can imagine the three bears would be using those pretty red mugs. So lovely that your home is full of children, ecitement, waffles, toys, happiness. Blessings to you friend. Bettyx

Hello Pom Pom, well I can't quite get past all the lovely red hearts & the rejoice always pic...just love it. It's taken me all day to be able to come back & write this. I've had a teary sad sort of day..sometimes childhood sadness still surfaces unannounced so...it was such a comfort for me to read your warm child filled post & know that you were there..thank you for your sweet friendship ♥

Quiet house mouse doings- that's what I am doing, as on Mondays in general- but it sounds nicer from you! Love the flowers, love it all- the shelves, the hangings, the smiles, the weary loveliness of it all! Hope you'll be drinking lots of tea in little house mouse breaks!

oh.. so nice post.)
Love your blog.))

I now spend a survey of bloggers with such questions.
1. Why did you create a blog?
2. For whom you taking him? Want to be popular?
3. How long will it keep going?

That settles it ~ I want to be one of your grandchildren! Oh my, how they will adore their memories of you when they are grown up. I am so glad that Bill is almost home. I've been in limbo somewhere, trying to find my way back. Love you!! Kari

You're the best! It looks like everyone had a very special, memorable time.

I had to laugh at the waffle photo. My girls favorite meal at grandma's is waffles... for dinner. So of course waffles it is, every time they stay the night!

CONGRATULATIONS on number eight. How many more before grandma camp has to add on a dormitory?

Blessings, Debbie

Thank you, everyone! I had to tell Betty that we don't have a pool of our own. Kelli's neighborhood pool is huge and not crowded as you can see in the photo! Granny is relaxing and looking forward to hubby getting home this evening! I did have to do a tiny bit of yard clean up this morning and now I am off to visit a friend. You are all so nice to leave sweet comments of support and encouragement! I have two things to show you because I went to the antique mall yesterday. Fun!

What a fun time you had with your little peeps! I love the princess dresses and crowns, and is that a princess tent I spy in your back yard? How cool is that! Your home always looks so bright and cheerful and the flower festoons are so charming and happy.
Hearts & hugs,
GG

Sounds like it was a busy, busy time there at Granny Camp! And lots of fun too. You must be pooped. Is that robin picture that's framed in your entry the one you took some time ago? I love how it turned out. The flowers are cheery.

Wishing you sweet rest time.

Jody
