I'm sorry I missed A Pause in Lent last week because I was away from home.
I like to sew on brown paper bags. I made a little love letter for Jesus.
Sometimes we make things that are useful. Sometimes we make things to share with others. Sometimes we make things for love.
Happy Mothering Day to my sweet UK friends.
Visit Floss and enjoy all the thoughtful pauses.

I have never thought of sewing on a paper bag before. But the idea of using this technique for a love-letter to Jesus is wonderful.
Thanks!
Lenten blessings xx
This is lovely, and I am also still thinking on the zords of your Thursday post too - thanks very much, Pom Pom.
This just makes my heart melt - it is beautiful - absolutely beautiful.

Ooh I love your "we wobble here for a while"!! I'm rushing off to write that down. Wobbly..there I just had to say it agin...that's me! I wish I could keep the just for a little while.. in light of eternity a bit more in perspective though. False self/true self sounds just like the fake fur/real skin I am reading about in "The Velveteen Woman". I think that maybe like the wee one learning to take her first steps, we just need to keep practicing. Love the brown paper letter too : ) Hope the tea did the trick x
what a lovely idea to sew on a paper bag. Very artsy texture creative. I love to see how artists make use of all kinds of media. I absolutely love the poem! It is a comely fashion to be glad..that is so perfect a line. I am going to use it some wear some how because I love it so much!
How lovely!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I didn't mention the name of the nursery; it is Bath Nursery in Ft. Collins. We have something else in common--teaching.
Oh, how wonderful! A wonderful use for your creative brilliance!

I thank you for sharing with us!

What a fun idea and great way of sharing encouraging Bible verses for children as well as friends and family members. I'll have to remember this as it is definitely one of those easy crafts for all ages, young to old, including my grand kids and moi (getting into that seniors status! :) ). Thank you for a delightful visit for A Pause in Lent.
