Mouse Bed

I love Cottontails Baby in the UK and I read Charlotte's blog because she posts about the garden at Cottontails Baby and she shows pictures of rabbits (Humphrey). Leslie (Wayside Sacraments) is going to show me more pictures of HER rabbits and Flavia, who has just moved from Rome to Helsinki, has a rabbit named Tappo. Well, anyway . . . I ordered this mouse from Charlotte. Look what she wrote on the tag.
Here is my new mouse.

She sleeps in a perfect matchbox. Doesn't she look snug?

When I can get back to my sewing, I'm thinking about making a mouse. I'll use this little she-mouse for a model.

We're giving final exams today, so I'll have time to tidy my classroom while the kids labor away. Amazing! I'm actually gliding toward the finish line this year instead of experiencing a very bogged down state of affairs like I usually endure. It's so nice!

Last night, after school, I sat outside and drank some coffee (decaf) and watched the birds. The robins were so determined to get their worms that they came very close to me. Thoreau once said that a bird lit on his shoulder when he was out gardening and he took it as the highest compliment.

That is the cutest mousie ever -- love him!
So glad you're nearly at the end of your school year. Are you teaching next year?
I'm soooooo enjoying waking up in the morning and realizing there are no grueling 'have to's' looming over my day.
Blessings Pom,
G

She is darling!! That will be a fun summer project.

Wouldn't it be amazing to have a bird lighting on your shoulder while gardening?! I had one fly right by my head yesterday, but he didn't land.

Have fun tidying! I'm glad your breezing through to the end!

Blessings!

I've never had such a cute mouse visit...I wonder if it's got anything to do with the traps. Now the bird visit...I do love to watch them build their nests in my rose bushes and in the bird houses around the yard. Remember last year they gifted us with three RoseBushBabies. I'll have to find that picture and post it again. Thanks for the reminder. Yay!!! Almost time!!!

That mouse is cute as a button! Oh my! Now why can't real ones be that cute?

I am so glad you have survived the heat AND you are getting time to tidy up. The end is in sight!

And I will try to post more bunny pictures. I am trying to talk my dd to put the fat one on the dog's harness and give it a walk. :)

Oh so lovely ! I'll show the pic to the kids ! Tappo is doing good he is so lovely. I feel a bit sorry for him because here there are thousends of wild rabbits in the city parks and i feel guilty knowing him in his cage. But of course I know he couldn't live outside, being born in an animal store.
Many blessings!!

I love the little mouse. I can't see an email for you but just wanted to say I did enquire about subscribing to UK country living and it would cost a huge £70 per year to send to the US. I am not sure it is worthwhile for you - however, I am going to be on holiday in Florida in August and will have a copy with me to read on the flight - so would post that copy to you while I am out there if you like? hope that helps - Betty xxx
