Mouse Bed

I love Cottontails Baby in the UK and I read Charlotte's blog because she posts about the garden at Cottontails Baby and she shows pictures of rabbits (Humphrey). Leslie (Wayside Sacraments) is going to show me more pictures of HER rabbits and Flavia, who has just moved from Rome to Helsinki, has a rabbit named Tappo. Well, anyway . . . I ordered this mouse from Charlotte. Look what she wrote on the tag.
Here is my new mouse.

She sleeps in a perfect matchbox. Doesn't she look snug?

When I can get back to my sewing, I'm thinking about making a mouse. I'll use this little she-mouse for a model.

We're giving final exams today, so I'll have time to tidy my classroom while the kids labor away. Amazing! I'm actually gliding toward the finish line this year instead of experiencing a very bogged down state of affairs like I usually endure. It's so nice!

Last night, after school, I sat outside and drank some coffee (decaf) and watched the birds. The robins were so determined to get their worms that they came very close to me. Thoreau once said that a bird lit on his shoulder when he was out gardening and he took it as the highest compliment.
