Bouncing Joy

We had a very bouncy weekend, with girlie girls galore!

I practiced my gypsy make up skills on CB and Aria.  When I told CB that I went to clown college and learned how to make my face into a clown face, she said, "THAT'S why you are such a good makeup artist!" Ha!  I really know nothing about makeup evidenced by the fact that I buy mine at the grocery store.
Cadence drew me.  I like it.
Plum Cake and Samantha went to a Monster Ball at Sam's school.  Plum is making a scary witchy face.  Scared?
This cute family came over this weekend, too!
Sam's a pretty witch! When our kids were growing up we had a rule that you could only be a witch once.
I had fun playing beauty shop.

I like Aria's portrait of me, too. (I didn't ask them to draw me, they just did!  LOL!)
It was gorgeous outside and inside.  Next weekend the boys come and Granny and Grampy are pondering the schedule.
Wednesday is book club and we are discussing the Gospel of John.  We read it like a book, straight through.  I can't wait to discuss it with the word women.
Happy Monday to all of YOU!

You need to rest up now for next weekend with the boys!

You did a great job on the make-up!! Such pretty subjects to work on. Nice that you had fine weather and they could work off some of their energy outside.
I love the Gospel of John. It's my favourite.
Happy Monday right back at you.

There is nothing better than to spend the week end with a house full of grand children. They all look so happy and cheerful.

I love seeing the girlie girls all running around and having so much fun and their makeup and costumes. They are all so cute.

I love your portrait. Someone is a good artist.

I'm a bit envious of your warm weather. It's getting cold here now.
have a great week.
Hugs,
JB

Oh my goodness, people are just having a ball at your house! It looks like you all had a lot of fun. I especially love the clown makeup and the funny faces. I'm not so good at makeup either and I was very surprised (and scared) when my only daughter started showing girly-girl tendencies. I had to learn some things quickly. :) I hope you're having a good week so far!

Hey, I went to clown school, too! Back in the '70's in Boulder. Well, actually, I think it was just one class, ha ha. I enjoyed creating my own face, but I didn't do much with it. I wasn't a really extroverted, clown-type. :)
Scary witches! What a lot of fun you had with all those girls! Cousins are a wonderful thing. I missed mine so much when we moved from Texas to Colorado when I was nine.
I read Beth Moore's book on John not too long ago. I'll never read it the same way again. Great!
Badger's here! I wrote an introductory post. :)

You're in CO; how can your backyard be so flat?!

The girls look marvelous! When I was little, it was pretty common to dress up as a gypsy for Halloween, but I haven't seen that in a while. Glad you have some gypsy girls around the house!
