Hi friends! I'm a little upside down today because we spent the wee hours getting Bill comfortable and situated. He slept in his green chair and I dozed on the sofa. I was a tiny bit cold so I ache a little today. I think tonight will be better.
A benefit of everyday blogging is the joy of looking through my thousands of photos. I remember the sweet curtains made from vintage tablecloths that I had hanging in the garage windows. Bill took them down and put his country flags in the window instead. They are bright and cheery, too.
Speaking of the patient, he is dozing right now. It's like when "the baby is sleeping" and the mama feels like she has been given the gift of a small increment of time. Smile. He really doesn't expect me to hover around him, but I sort of do anyway.
Don't you like that blue so blue and this cute polka dot curtain. I made it for Jenny's first house. I bet it is still there.
Now, let's go to the fabric store. Enjoy!
Ooops! A fairy popped in!
Back to our shopping . . .
Ooops again! Now the nutcrackers want to remind you that you have a good long time to play around with Christmas things and think sweet holiday thoughts.
This neighborhood tree was stunning a few years ago. This year I did not happen to see it in its full glory, but isn't this autumn-red like fire? Little by little all the leaves are floating to the ground. Now I am hungry for an apple and some cinnamon toast. Thank you for your sweet wishes for Bill's recovery.

you made me smile with 'the baby is sleeping' comment. good luck!!
I know all about feeling you need to hover! Get some rest yourself, too. Glad all is going well.
While you (both) are in recovery mode, you might want to keep the thermostat a little higher at night. I notice that when we are sick at all, we don't move around as much, and we don't generate the same amount of heat. And pile on those blankets!
I'm glad you got a moment to yourself while your patient was napping. It's fun going through photos isn't it? How quickly this year has flown by! Love that crimson red tree.
HI Pom (:)

and I love the fabric store ride..the sweet garage curtains hubby took down and
the hippy- earthy votives description (:)
hugs..Patty
Mmm. Cinnamon toast. I have cinnamon bagels for breakfast this week. Mmm. Wishing you lots of recuperative sleep- I'm off to grab me some of that right now- night night, sweet pom poms x
I enjoyed browsing through the fabrics! I'm not a sew-er, but I found myself looking for something that would be good for making some big, bright throw pillows!
I enjoyed the photos very much! There's a maple tree that looks just like your photo in our area. Aren't they glorious?
Stay warm and thanks for giving me the idea to make some cinnamon toast!! :D
Hi, Sweetheart! Oh my -- that flaming red tree is almost a shock when I scrolled down! How gorgeous! Glad Bill is resting well. I also adore fabric shopping. Looking at sumptuous fabric is like looking at yarn -- it almost makes me salivate, do you know what I mean? It's just TOO beautiful. I love seeing the bolts of fabric all together, esp. when they group the colors together and it's almost overwhelming. I gravitate to the rich, deep colors, and I love the rose variations. Sigh. It's been too long since I strolled through a fabric store.
Sending get well wishes to Bill. Tell him that it gets better every day. And take care of yourself... it's not easy being the nurse!
I enjoyed the fabric shopping! I'm glad Bill has such a sweet nurse.
Our trees are dropping a lot of leaves, but the light is beautiful and I'm still happy with November.

your fabric shop looks exciting, glad Bill is enjoying home comforts, I like the red polka dot curtain - it is very red here - I used to dislike red but now I love it - my house is full of red - the colours scheme came together over several years and is hubby's rather than mine - it sort of evolved - I love the red in the woods and garden - I still have geraniums. Wishing Bill a swift recovery, and good sleep for both of you. Now's the time to enjoy some crochet, PP. :) xxx
