Good Stuff

The feast week is nearing.  I found these twins in my files (three years ago, methinks).  And I simply wanted to gaze upon their beauty and I thought you might like to feast your eyes on them, too.  They match!
I'm off to school.  I'm a tiny bit more tired than I was last week at this time.
Words from 100 Days in the Secret Place:
"Submit yourself peacefully and simply to the will of God, and bear your sufferings without struggle."

Good stuff.

So sorry you are a bit tired this Monday. I love the quote.
I hope your day is filled with lots of good things.
I will pray for you. I will be thinking of you too. I wish you were here to have a cup of tea and watch the sun rise. We have another storm coming so the sky is filled with pink.

I am submitting myself peacefully and simply to the will of God and I am grateful to say I don't have any sufferings to struggle with. It's been a peaceful day here making my fairy and clearing up gold glitter which I seem to have walked through the entire house! I think if we had a power cut we will be able to see in the dark anyhow. Your pie looks nice, I'm guessing pumpkin. Betty x

Mmmmm made two pumpkin pies already...they are GONE...the great pumpkin eater (my husband) got at them!!! Will have to make some more. He says he could probably eat a whole pie in one sitting, if he could, but I won't let him!!! Thinking of making our turkey this week for my birthday. How do you get your turkey so golden brown mmmmmm turkey sandwiches with cranberries and miracle whip and lettuce, sounds so good right now. That would perk you up, don't you think???

Sandra left me some resolution cards, and today's was about embracing my current season of life and living with a sense of contentment- 1 Tim 6:6. I have it on the fridge. Tough call just now, but needed. I can smell those Thanksgiving beauties all the way down my street!

The turkey and pie look delicious! I'm feeling tired today, too, but am cheered by the thought of Thanksgiving next week.

Look after yourself, PomPom. drink tea, lots of it, and spend time snuggling up to God. And Bill as well, of course!
