Bill and I enjoyed every moment of our Pacific Northwest visit. Do you like to dwell in the forest? I am awed by the woods.
Foxglove in their natural environment
Every cabin in the woods must be warmed with chopped wood. Isn't it beautiful?
My sister-in-law and my brother take care of this big girl. Her name is Betsy!
They have such a lovely fireside.
Flowers thrive in the NW. The growing season is long and wet.
The foothills are much prettier than this photo, but look at the clouds! Very common in Western Washington.
More of these lovely hydrangeas. We can't grow them in the high country.
My other brother and his wife live out by the sea. They look out to green, green, green, too!
My amazing mama. Oh I LOVE that face, those hands!
My dear smiling papa!
My homeland is so green! When I was a kid, I loved the green, the golf course, the hanging cedar branches, and the sound of the rustling tall timbers. I still do!
Bird occupants! Hello!
It's nice to be home. Flowers grew and seeds sprouted here in the five short days we were gone.
Traveling all day yesterday made for achey muscles and sleepy eyes. We'll revive soon.
Thank you for checking in on me.

and i fall in love with ferns any time someone posts them.
So glad you are home. I bet it felt good to be back in your own bed. The green is so pretty and the paths and the trees.
I am so glad you had a nice time. I hope you got your mind rested.
I have missed you.
Ahhh, welcome home, Pom! It looks like you had a lovely visit. It's nice to see your daddy's smile. And the flowers! Wow! It is so green, lush, comforting there. I love places like that. I found the Berkshires in Massachusetts to be the same. Thanks for sharing! Was that dog an English Mastiff? She's beautiful!
The Northwest is so beautiful. I love the red chair in the woods. Too bad the Colorado woods can't be that lush and moist. Your parents are so dear. Mine are long gone and I miss them so.
That green is so refreshingly beautiful! I love the pic with the two red chairs in the middle of the forest. Your smiling mama and papa are charming. And those flowers. Golly! Glad you're home safe and sound.
Woods are fabulous - I love those foxgloves - beautiful cabin and Betsy is such a pretty girl.
What a beautiful area your homeland is. So nice to spend time with loved family.
Where to begin? The beautiful and loving faces of your Mama and Papa, the blue hydrangeas, the green so thick and delicious you can smell it, the big, lucky dog, so much more.
I loved it all and loved how you love it.
All joys to you,
Sharon
I can tell that you are so blessed with a wonderful, loving family. What a wonderful trip!

What a lovely summer break in the woods. Everything look so lush, green and lively. And Betsy, isn't she gorgeous?
I love those foxgloves growing in the wild. Hopefully my foxgloves will thrive this year.
What a pleasure to meet your family PomPom.
Enjoy the rest of the summer vacation.
Miss Pom Pom what a glorious little piece of heaven you visited. It is so lush and as pretty as a picture. Everything is sooooo green.
The Hydrangaes are very pretty. I have pink, blue and white ones and I miss them over the Winter months. We had warmer weather leading up to Winter so some people are lucky enough to still have a few heads of flowers. Last week I stood in the rain in my Grandparents garden clipping a few. I just wish Peonies would grow here.....sigh.
Your little break away looks warm and full of great company xoxo
