Good Stuff

Here is our Brad's cute family!  They are all dressed up to go to April's symphony evening.  She is a violinist.  Aw!  So dear!
And here is Plum Cake giving her chicken a little cuddle!  Ha!
Scott went to a golf tournament yesterday so Sam and Plum came over and sat under the pine tree.  I love Sam's dress!  It was her Easter dress and the photo of her wearing her butterfly crown is one of Granny's favorite!

We had a very busy day yesterday so today I am moving a little slooooooow.  It's a good day to stay home and do "in house" things, but Bill is outside working around our patch, so I am feeling pulled by the weeds in the chimney garden.

About the same time last year I was drinking THIS cup of tea and this morning I enjoyed some green tea from Taiwan.  Sweet.

I cooked some sausages with my egg and Bill ate the other three when he came home from his walk. The fresh jalapeños on top (and the zucchini) were SCRUMPTIOUS!

I like this little blurb from the House Blessings book:
"Making a house work for you, getting it to deliver the emotional rewards - love, personal expression, and a sense of well-being - requires knowing yourself and knowing how you'd like to live.  Your house is that special place where you can be you."  ~ JoAnne Barwick

Maybe just maybe that will get me in the mood to scrub the bathroom.
Happy day to you.  Thank you for clicking by!

What a very nice group of pictures today. I love that chicken hug.
Chickens really do like being loved and lugged around. :)
Your breakfast looks yummy as does your tea.
I hope you have a very nice day.

I like that little 'blurb'. My house is definitely that place where I can be me... surrounded by a lot of "stuff".

That is a very patient chicken. We have some that would allow, some that are too shy, and some that are too bossy. lol. Great family photos. How'd you do on the house keeping tasks?
