Baptism and Horse Ranch Doings

Hello!  Yes, we took care of the car buying business and the white station wagon is parked in her spot in the garage.  Yay!
We've had a great weekend so far with Birdie's baptism in Kelli and Bryan's hot tub.  The whole family gathered for it!

Uncle Brad baptized Birdie and cousin Cadence read Psalm 23.  Miss Bug recited John 3:16 for her sister.  Grampy prayed.

Uncle Jeff bounced the kids on the tramp.
Later I rode out to the horse boarding school with Kelli.  I really like the donkey.

Kelli is learning how to ride a horse and Sven is not used to horsemanship so he is learning, too.  I liked the pack of doggies that run around the the horse ranch.  I really DO love donkeys.

It's very "wide open spaces" out in Elizabeth, Colorado.  Isn't it pretty?

Today everyone is coming to our house to celebrate Plum Cake's third birthday.  It's off to the grocery store for us and then all-day prepping for the peeps.
I'll be back soon.
(LOVE!)

Congratulations to Birdie for standing up for Jesus! :) And to her family for making it a celebration to remember! Baptism is a really big deal.
I love the horsey pictures. It's been a few years since my daughter's horsey activities in 4-H and at home. I kind of miss that time. (And my own horse crazy youth in Hygiene, CO!)
I think you need to get a donkey, Pom! :)

We had two baptisms at church today--a 2-year-old and a 40-year old! I love baptisms; they make me cry in a happy way.

How very special to have this baptism with the family! Baptisms are one of my favorite things. Next Sunday we are having a mass baptism service at our church.
Happy end of weekend to you!

You really DO like that donkey, don't you?

Have fun celebrating with your peeps!

how fabulous to have a hot tub baptism! (I had mine in a big math in the floor of the chapel - it was warm and two ministers got in with me!) It looked great having all the chairs lined up outside and lovely to think that the family were so involved in it all. Glad you have a new car - don't they smell lovely inside when new!

Did Birdie get a baptismal certificate? More than one young adult I know has needed one later on, and it was tricky because they'd been baptized in a swimming pool, somewhat informally like Birdie, and if a certificate had been made, it had disappeared.

Congratulations to the dear girl!

I love donkeys too! The plan when we moved to France was to have room for a donkey and a goat...but I don't think they would enjoy the tiny courtyard that is attached to the house we actually bought!
