Badger Climbs a Cathedral and Other Saturday Doings

James LOVES to play in the car.  After we went out for breakfast, I took him to my car while his parents finished eating in peace.  He was a happy little wild guy today.  He was into everything at the breakfast table!  SO funny!
Speaking of breakfast, I had this hobbit meal two days in a row!  I love mushrooms.
The fruits above were hanging over a fence when I was walking to the bank.  Aren't they rosy?
Here is the least weedy area in the garden.  The pumpkin plant has produced two pumpkins so far.  Happy Halloween!
My journaling Bible came!  I LOVE it.  I've been snuggling in with it, reading and writing.  Favorites.
Bill won't be home until tomorrow so I drove over to pick up James this morning.  He was still a bit droopy at 6:30 am.
Before long he was busy in the Wendy house.
 And digging in the dirt!
Now, you MUST go over to Chels and see Badger!  He climbed a cathedral!  He began all of his adventures in Taiwan last fall.  Here he is begging for a cuppa at Yiping's house.  Ha!
Can you believe all the fun this little rascal has had so far?  He can't go to France because his hostess is taking a bloggy break at the moment, so after he goes to Kezzie's he'll be flying to America to begin his continental tour here.
Thank you for coming by today.  I'm feeling a lot better and I'm sorry that I was sick and got so little accomplished this week.  Somedays I feel like I should go, go, go and other days I am perfectly peaceful about my lazy ways.
I have to finish All the Light We Cannot See for book club and it's not a quick read.  It's VERY good, though.
I bought two new tablecloths at Homegoods and I just might use all my ironing skill to press them today and put them on the two tables in the living room and dining room.
Jenny just called and the girlies are coming over for a while.  The parents must do some birthday shopping for Plum Cake who will be THREE this month!
Wee!  Chicken nuggets for lunch!  Ha!

Seems like you get a lot done even when you aren't feeling well. How nice of you to help out with the littles so parents can have a few quiet moments. That Badger really gets around. I'd love to be visiting a cathedral today. Have a lovely weekend!

The Journaling Bible looks interesting. And you have such pretty handwriting, by the way.

Yes, I also noticed how lovely your handwriting is. I think those of us with poor handwriting always notice.

Those are apples hanging over the fence I believe. And that reminds me that I still have quite a few of those we went picking to slice and freeze. Off to work I go ( instead of sitting in front of my computer).

We've always called our little place Plum Hill Ranch because of all the wild plums, and we're on a hill! So your picture of the plums reminded me of all the plum jam and jelly I've made over the years. A good memory! I love your journaling Bible. Wish mine had more space in the margins, but I love the Giant Print!
Looks like little James had a passel of fun at your place. :)
Glad to see that Badger's on the move. I hope he's getting closer to my house!
I'm going to go visit him now. ;)
