Snow and a Pumpkin

Silly Colorado.  It snowed this morning!  I did sniff some cold in the air when I woke up during the night.  There is usually foreshadowing in a snow story.  It's a good day for Mrs. Field's cookies at the mall.  Kelli wants a shopping buddy, so I'm riding along.
Remember when I crocheted an apple cozy? It ended up being a small watermelon cozy and now . . . a funky pumpkin cozy!
Bill and I had bacon this morning and then we went back to bed.  It's that kind of Saturday.  I hope your weekend is snug.

No snow for me, please. At least for a little while! We have fences to put up before the ground freezes! :)

Have a relaxing weekend!

A pumpkin needs a nice warm cozy with all that snow outside! Enjoy your weekend and keep cozy and warm.

You are always eating bacon...why do you torture me!:) Cookies do sound good today. In fact, I just made some chocolate chip cookies and am trying not to eat them all. The kids are having cookies with hot chocolate on this cold day. We didn't get snow, just cold rain. Enjoy your cookies!

I had heard that Colorado had gotten snow! That's crazy considering it's been in the 80's for days here in Chicago. Have a snuggly weekend!

Snow- n way! they are forecasting it for here at the end of the month- and Scottish snow stations have had it already- I love the snow, however- good excuse to get out sledges and snowsuits and clear the drive and then come in to environmentally horrendous heating and hot chocolate and gas fires (more carbon footprint!!). Hope the Mall was glorious- bet you have as many Christmas stuff in the shops as we do now- with a token display of Hallowe'en paraphernalia! Bed- my favourite place in all the world!

What I want to know is why you got our snow and it still is cold and rainy today here. The sun just came out as I am writing so maybe there's still some fall weather to look forward to this week. Our foothills are covered with snow.
Stay warm.

Oh. My. Goodness! Snow?
I hope you won't be sending it our way. I'm just not ready for it.

The pumpkin will surely keep cozy now and it looks like he will need it.

Did you have fun shopping?

How beautiful to have snow and pumpkins at the same time. Your pumpkin jacket looks lovely. We have rain this morning, which I love - sometimes when we are out in the rain we walk with our mouths open wide so it falls in! am I mad? How are those WITW folk? doing on their travels? I want them to hurry up and visit me!

Dearest Pom Pom,

I read you title and said, "noooooo" under my breath. I can not believe you had snow yesterday. We went swimming at the beach today. This is only the second time in my lifetime that that has happened on Thanksgiving weekend, but it was sooo beautiful!

Bacon and bed sounds divine! I think your pumpkin looks wonderfully cozy!

Blessings!

Snow?! Oh, my girls are going to be so jealous! They were staring at the sky the other morning just sure it was coming... nope. This weekend was your typical, beautiful indian summer. I have to say I wouldn't mind a taste of snow... and some bacon... all cozied up!

There is something wonderfully cozy about the first snowfall of the year. Your little pumpkin looks adorably cozy. Love the little ladybug button.

Snow! My goodness! Bacon and back to bed = just the right response. Is it all gone now?

The squirrels here are practically frantic with getting their acorns stored. I hope that's not a sign it's going to be a snowy winter. I like a little snow now and again, but not too much. My toes get cold.

oh if I could only stay in bed on Saturdays! I am too restless and I want to get my workout out of the way so I get up at 7:00 a.m. and start my day but I do wish I could just stay still and go back to sleep and wake up at 11 a.m. instead because after all that's what Saturdays are for right? =)
