Preparations were made early Saturday morning with warm thoughts of little sprites soon to fill the garden.
Tiny cupcakes, moist and sweet, awaited the birthday boy and his harem.
Grab your personal picnic lunch. Can you find your name?
Wear your bright swimsuit and you are guaranteed to receive multiple hugs and kisses.
Balloons around every corner!
Sit with your cousins!
Eat red food!
Rule the playhouse!
Yes, you are a member of a lovely little club.
Peek-a-boo!
Toddle around in your puffy skirt, brave little fairy!
Greet Joe the Scarecrow!
Hold his hand.
Or sit a while with your mommy.
Seven little wonders, our own sweet offspring, good food, a long happy day. Perfect.

A perfect picnic! Sam has your pretty eyes! =) The word verification for this post this morning is "matings." Kinda goes with the offspring theme, I think. =)
It was a wonderful picnic! Thank you form making such a special day for our little Finn!
Oh what fun! I want to go back to that magical time!
This post is beautiful. The words, and the sweet baby smiles.

What a wonderful backyard! It looks like all the little cousins enjoyed themselves immensely -- and isn't it a joy to know YOU and your hubby are what makes them all belong to each other? So dear.
Oh Pom Pom the tree house- why have I never noticed this before- how perfectly perfect was the long-awaited Finn's Picnic- it's one of the last rites of summer! And glorious! Lovely Finn. Lovely Pom!
Yes, that *would* be the perfect way to spend a summer's day! What joy...
You have so many fun ideas for all of your little sprites! It's so nice that all of the little cousins can be together. My cousins were always very special to me.
Have a great week!
Finn celebrated in fine style. Who had more fun the kids having fun, or the adults making the fun happen? Hard to say, huh.
ooo those cupcakes look so yummy! x
I loved this! Alas, I did not find my name on a bag. Does that mean I wasn't invited to be part of his harem? :(
Blessings, Debbie
Mmm rainbow cupcakes! Always good party guests.
Awwww, what a perfect picnic birthday party with those Seven Wonders! Blessed are you! (and they to have you)
Sounds like a lovely time was had by all. What a great idea to have brown paper bag lunches. Might have to store that away for a future party:)
It was such a wonderful day! Thank you so very much. We were blessed beyond measure. Love you, brad
The first photo of your granddaughter, I believe she's Miss Bug?, looks just like you! Anyone else ever say that?
Aww how cute! Seems like the perfect day.
A lovely gathering, Many happy returns Finn, I like the washing line picnic bags, so fun. Hope the birthday boy made a big wish when he blew the candles out on his cake. I have some little people visiting tomorrow, hoping for a long walk in the woods blackberry picking. Bettyx
Waaah, I don't see a sack with my name on it! And I had my puffy skirt and bathing suit all ready. :)
What a wonderful party and great pictures! Thanks for sharing.

You are blessed. You have such beautiful grandchildren. All mine are wildly running around Camp and having a wonderful time. I love experiencing their joy. Finn and his harem...indeed. He is a lovely boy with those red cheeks. Love him and wish I could hug them all. Miss you.
