Me, Again!

Two days in a row!  Wow!  I made a list of foods I eat (not because I plan on eliminating any of them) and I added cookies and jelly beans.  Staples.
Birds are coming to the front feeders.  BLISS!
When I returned from my neighborhood walk yesterday afternoon I saw a sunbeam.
 Blossoms!

And this morning after my two cups of coffee, I had three cups of tea!  Ha!
And after I dry my hair I am driving off to meet someone for lunch.  I am settling for 61 degrees and calling it shorts weather.

Susan Branch is SO nice.  She sometimes (actually LOTS of times) responds to comments on her blog and yesterday she helped me with starch ratios (I am going to starch my living room valances) AND she said she IS coming to Colorado and I can't wait!

Thank you for coming by again!  Here's to chirping birds and lack of shivers!
(BIG HUG!)

Oooh, your blossom and trees and birds are beautiful- so saturated with colour!!!!! Lovely!!!
Yay for birds! We were digging beds yesterday in the garden, closely flanked by Blackbird and Robin who were determined to get involved and sang at us non-stop for about 2 hours!!! Today the Blackbird is getting closer and closer and I just caught him creeping towards my open patio window!!x

In short weather... you're so lucky... here I'm still wearing my long john to keep warm. Plenty of hungry birds at my feeder returning from where ever they came from. Between my neighbours and me we've had big flocks landing in our yard. Too lazy or preoccupied to take pictures.
I love Susan Branch. Her books are marvelous. So talented...
Have a beautiful day.
Hugs,
JB

gosh you lucky thing - having SB visit your area, I hope you get to see her... and how kind about the starch info - I enjoyed her blog post this week - I wouldn't have a clue how to starch something though but it did get me in a spring cleaning kind of mood - hope it lasts until my day off on Thursday!

Your colorful posts are always special. I'm worried about the flowering trees and shrubs as the temperature is supposed to drop to 31 tonight and 28 later in the week. I thought it was spring!

It's funny how 60's bring out the shorts around here, too. Now in Southern California the 60 would bring out jackets! LOL! Have a nice lunch!

I'd like to see Susan Branch too. I wonder if she'll ever come to NM. Of course, I can always use an excuse to visit Tattered Cover - LOVE that place!

So envious of your blooms and blossoms! We are in a freeze that I am hoping doesn't kill my tulips. At least I know someone is enjoying spring!

The weather has been odd, hasn't it. Hoping that the warming trend will keep. Love your little flower bouquet. Our tulips are slow; we are always a few days behind Denver as to when the blooms open. Hope lunch is good.

We're having very typical April showers, and stormy ones at that, but blue skies and blossoms also abound! April is our birthday month, with lots of snatched conversations in corners. I have to work hard to remember whose surprise plan I'm working on before I have my snatched conversation! Interestingly, now that the suns now shine in virtual spheres as well as real ones, they will only discuss PC's on our Operation Surprise place. Even when there only are the three of us in the house. It's either the death of conversation, imminent anyway with two nearly teenagers, or the birth of a new. Or the salvage of the lost and mourned!

Pretty blossoms!! Spring is so exciting. Hooray for shorts weather and 61*. Send it to me! I'm ready.

I'm making an effort at more fruit/veggies.

Oh it looks like you have spring!!!! YAY!!!! But shorts??!!! Weren't you freezing??!!! I still had my long underwear on yesterday! haha! But it was only 40 out. Susan Branch is so nice!!! I find it so hard to go back and find my original comment to find if she has said anything and I don't want to subscribe and receive 300 messages in my inbox. Maybe there is a shortcut? I need to find my jellybeans! I bought some last week because we didn't have them at easter and we divided them up and the kids put my bag somewhere....wish I could come with you to see Susan Branch!!!! I see that my copy of her book will be arriving this coming week!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! Michael will be away next week so I'm thinking I will have lots of time to read that book!!!!!

Snow here. Just an inch, maybe, and very wet stuff. I guess we need the precip. I love how you enjoy your jellybeans and cookies with such an attitude of freedom! Ha!
Lots of birds on my balcony, fighting over the feeder and the scraps below.
Enjoy your nice weather!

I'm dying for it to be shorts weather here... we have a FREEZE warning in Central Illinois again today... UGH!!! We hit 70 degrees last week then we go right back down again. I am a person who thrives when it is 85. So sweet that Susan Branch is so personable and answers comments like that :-)
Have a perfectly wonderful weekend my friend.
