I'm still enjoying the soft Cascade Yarns alpaca.
The sale at the yarn store was FUN! I think I like roving yarn!
This yarn has some prickly stuff in it but I love the colors.
The various books were five dollars. This one is beautiful. All of the yarn was half off.
I won a giveaway on Marcie's blog! Her blog is named The Quiet Country House. I am slowly savoring this excellent guide book and I'll write a review soon.
And guess who popped in for a rest? Yes! Mr. Badger spent Christmas in Indiana with Heather (Blackberry Rambles) and her family. I'm going to shore him up for future American travel. Any takers? I'm sure you have a lot of hygge to share with Mr. Badger. I'll write a post soon about his travels (he went to Pooh Sticks Bridge and Downton Abbey!)
Flowers were marked down at the grocery store! Don't you love white blooms?
March already. Thank you, Susan. Don't you love her calendars?
I thought you might like to see my ballerina slippers (aka Easter shoes).
And here is the pattern and fabric for my Easter dress. I think I might have time to begin this project soon.
Here's my cozy reading and knitting corner. You can sit here if you'd like to. I'll pour.
Take care! Sniff the air and welcome the birds! Thank you very much for peeking in!

Thanks, Pom! So fun to see my book covered tucked amid all the color and cheer of your blog! :::grinning from ear to ear:::
What fun treasures you found and won! I love winning things from blogs and so on, it always lifts my spirits, even when it is a small thing. Your yarn and knitting looks so soft and squishy!
Can I admit that I am a bit jealous of your March that looks like spring? Spring won't arrive here for another month or so, and where we used to live, there would be signs of it in January, so it is especially hard on me.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
What pretty fabric for your new dress! You are going to be busy.
What a cheerful post! The yarn looks soft and the colors are great. I love flowers in the winter... a taste of spring to come. Your chair looks so comfy... perfect for a book, a cup of tea and maybe a short nap!
very cozy, that spot! you have COLOUR everywhere! :)
Love those yarn colors.
Wow what a comfortable looking chair that is!! : )
Oh PP this is not fair! So very many truly breathtaking things in one post! Five dollars for a Rowan book?! I can't comment on all the joy in these words and pictures. I'll just go back and roll about in it for a while!
Once again your photos are full of delightful colour! Love the Easter dress fabric. You have 3 whole weeks to sew it. I just know it will look pretty and Springy.
Fun fabric for your Easter dress! Such comfy shoes, too. Glad you had some nice purchases at the yarn store. Have a great evening...
Those are some really great looking yarns! I have never learned to knit or crochet (dumb). Loved this post- trying to pop in here and there as I can. Hope you have a great rest of the week- xo Diana
Soooo many lovelies in your post! Don't you just love a good yarn shop sale?! *hugs* :)
Lots of color in this post! It feels like the best of winter and spring all rolled up together :-)
That's a lovely corner for knitting and reading, Ambercat would take it over! Made me want to go and nest somewhere. My book came early! I am going to fill it with my own 'stuff' and make it mine, I love it. Your dress fabric is very pretty and the Easter Vans look practical but trendy too.
Well, that was a pleasant visit for my being awake so early this morning. Sometimes when I can't sleep, I like to catch up on my blog reading and so here I am. :) Lovely yarns, cheerful calendar, and cozy knitting spot!! I'm inspired -- thank you!
So nice to stop in and start my morning with you. I love all of your yarn. I also like seeing your reading and knitting chair. It looks comfy. All of your books look very interesting too. So cozy. Wow, Mr. Badger did all of that? I can't wait to hear all about it.
I hope you have a lovely day.
Always just pretty pictures and so cheerful. I love the yarn, even though I have no clue what to do with it anymore. The books look wonderful. The calendar is just great. Enjoy!!!
Oh, I do adore Rowan but have never, and probably never will, made anything of theirs. I use to receive their mailings but no longer. Pencil roving is such fun to knit and keeps you really warm. Prickly stuff...VM...vegetable matter is what shepherds call it.
Mr. B is welcome to visit Thistle Cove Farm andI'm jealous he visited DA.
Yes, to Susan's calendars...they greatly add to my happiness quota. Cool shoes, enjoy!
Lovely reading corner; we all need one.
So many fun things all rolled up together. The shoes look comfy and the fabric for your Easter dress is so cheery. I do love white tulips or lilies or paperwhites this time of year.
Have fun with your knitting.
I'm loving your reading and knitting corner! And all the fun you're having with that new yarn! The material for the Easter dress is very pretty. Looking forward to seeing the dress. What's that underneath your ballerina slippers? Did you draw that or is it a grown-up coloring book? :)Rest well, Mr. Badger!
Those colours are beautiful. I really must sort out my stash now! I do love the ballerina slippers too, they look extremely comfortable! Mr Badger has certainly been on a few journeys. He was a delight to take to Downton Abbey (behaved himself) and up on the top of the Cathedral :) Have a wonderful Sunday x
I would give anything to sit in your cosy reading corner chair!!What ya going to do with the roving? xxx
You have such a lovely blog! Your little corner is quite cozy indeed!
Such beautiful colors! I too love my Susan Branch calendar and have been loving her postings on Downton. She cracks me up...LOL Kit
I'm feeling yarn envy! Yours looks so soft and pretty.

Oh, Pom, I can't tell you much I'd like to curl up in that comfy chair, cup a mug of tea in my palms, and rest. I love the look of all that yarn and the thing you're making. Cute shoes!! I think ... I need a comfy chair with lots of quilts.
