November Beauty and Adios

I just HAD to create one more blog post before we leave tomorrow because November has begun in such a gorgeous manner!  Really, it's warm and mellow here.  I was walking around the backyard trying to accumulate steps (ha!) and I became overwhelmed at the early evening beauty!

Sometimes it's sad when the darkness descends earlier on the first day of "fall back' but today the sky seemed extra pretty longer than I expected.

My sweet peas can't ever catch up.  By the time they are trying to bloom the temps are cooler, but I am applauding their great effort.

From now on my posies will be wool (thanks to by sweet blog friend Heather at Blackberry Rambles!)

The golden birdie will keep shining, even when she's standing in snow.

I forgot to show you the sweet house row that Lisa from Pen, Ink, and Maybe Some Paint drew.  We send each other art and art things a few times a year, so she's my art buddy. I put these on the refrigerator.

I'm all packed (and I mean PACKED because I shoved and shoved and stuffed and stuffed my backpack) and ready to go.  I had this Mexican dress stored in my closet.  I've had it for DECADES I think, so I tried it on and it fits!  It must have been gigantic on me when I was younger because I had thought it was a tiny dress.  Not so!  It fits and I'm taking it because guess what?  It looks better with my white hair than it did with my brown hair.  Ha!  Hooray!
Thank you for calling in.  I'm charging my camera and I have a purse full of little things to please James as a three hour plane trip might be a little much for the wiggle worm.  Thank you for your prayers!
Adios!

Oh- Have fun in Mexico. Glad your dress fits and I know it will be a fun getaway for you. I always hated the check in at Mexico where they took every single thing out of the suitcases and then tried to put them all back in...what a mess!

Looks like you had a nice fall day...and at least you have flowers abloom. We have nothing blooming here at all anymore.

Safe travels and enjoy your time away. xo Diana

It was just the prettiest day for November I ever remember having. I will pray for your safe trip. How nice it is only three hours.
I know you will have so much fun. I can't wait to see your pictures when you get back.

God speed and keep you safe. November came in here with rain and coolish weather, typical November weather but it's not as coolish as it's going to be.

I like your Mexican dress! Be sure to take a selfie of you in it as you play with Sweet Baby James in Mexico.

I love your Mexican dress! I have one too (in my trunk) that I bought in Mexico when I was about 20. I'm sure it no longer fits, and my girls don't want it. It's deep sky blue, with very colorful neckline. I adore Mexico, and I miss it a lot. I hope your time there was wonderful! Lisa's houses are so cute. She's so talented!
