A Red Baby

Happy December!  I've been under the weather with a nasty virus (fever and aches for three days!) but I am finally feeling better.  Yay!  It's Millie Rose's 4th birthday today!  We're going to the teddy bear building store and then to a birthday dinner.  Yay for Millie who was very angry when her parents took her first Christmas card photo!  Funny!
Even though we don't have cold and snow right now, I'm starting to get some Christmas decorating vision.
I missed the first Pause in Advent, so I'll catch up on Sunday.
I'm going to drink a cup of hot chocolate now and listen to some carols.  Bliss!

Oh, that picture of Millie Rose, is priceless.... I can just imagine how many times, in the future, she is going to have to *endure* someone showing that around. -gigggles-

So sorry for the virus. Seems our 16 year old Granddaughter next door, is in the midst of one too. Doc gave her meds, so hope it will soon improve.

-sigh- The Festive Season is also the Season of Worrying About Catching Cold. -pout-

But look at her pic again, and smile.

I hope you're feeling LOTS better. Hubs was coming down with a cold or something and I had him take the Fire Cider and a clove of garlic. Today he's WAY better. I took the cider just to keep the bug away. So far, so good.

Happy Birthday Fun to you all!

I got a cold at Thanksgiving - but it didn't last long. Just made me miss church that weekend. :-( I'm glad you're doing better.

Those gumdrops make me instantly crave gumdrops. I think in a previous December you posted this picture or one like it, and I have it in my Christmas screensaver collection. Gumdrops are most festive! I have some candles that look like giant gumdrops...

Oh that beautiful girl! Cry hard! Hope you're feeling much better. I look forward to your Pause, though it's past mid-week and I'm not yet half-way through this week's list! So many wonderful thoughts to savour and chew.

You know, i've just noticed the post's title. It gives such an air of a Renoir painting! Art x

I do love the Build A Bear. Let me guess. Would you be going to the one the little shopping mall call the Aspens or something like that? What fun she will have. And you.

Get better quickly, my friend. Poor baby - her face is almost the same colour as her dress!! Going to see an angel in her Nativity Play at school next week. She has to say 'You MUST follow the star'. She has it down to a fine art now after many, many rehearsals!! Love your new 'look'. Very festive. xxx

Forgot to say, we used to call those sweets 'joob-joobs'. What a funny name for sweets, eh?

Look at your pretty gum drops! Oh, we do laugh later about screaming baby photos, but at the time ... the poor mama! I remember being so stressed by such things, wanting it to be perfect, when actually it was just messy life :) So glad you are on the mend, Pom. Have a quiet, blessed December.

I do hope the birthday was delightful & Millie Rose has a very happy week. Poor wee poppet....so very cross indeed. (must say I do love the couch that she is yelling on!) That wasn't very nice to be feeling so unwell. Were you still able to read while you rested? There's nothing worse than feeling so vile that even reading isn't nice. I am nearly through The Language of Flowers..& at the point where I really want to zoom but don't want to get to the end too quick. Much love & healing hugs to you my friend, GK x0x0x

I do hope that Millie Rose had a delightful birthday & a very happy week. Poor little poppet is most disgruntled with the photo taking business..I do have to say...I love the couch she's yelling on, however!
