Don't they have the nicest smiles?
I had a little photo shoot with Plum Cake the white angel today!
Aw, those cheeks and rosy lips! Take a look at her lovely little arms and her precious feet!
I found a polka dot blanket at the grocery store for $5.99. Yay!
Last weekend, the blackbirds came. I knew they wouldn't stay long. They made quite a racket!
Soon it will be October and the air will cool, sending the maple leaves dancing toward the ground. It seems like everyone who bakes is baking pumpkin treats. I had a birthday lunch at school of homemade crockpot macaroni and cheese. We drank hot apple cider. I'm making a nice oniony pot roast for dinner tomorrow night.
Tomorrow is the first day of SPIRIT Week at school. It's Fashion Disaster Day! I can't wait! It shouldn't be too hard to put an outfit together.
Good bye, sweet September!

such a serious little face under that halo. :)
What a cute little angel. You have a good looking family and yes, with great smiles!!! Oh those black birds, they seem to chase away the pretty birds don't they. Oh my, October is just a few short days away....mmmmmm...pumpkin pie!!!
Couldn't help but wonder who she was staring at so intently? The cat? :) LOVE her angel outfit. We have those noisy birds too. I think down South we call them grackles -- may be a different variety.
Have a wonderful new week!
Plum cake is so adorable and look at those blue eyes those chubby cheeks! Don't they bring so much joy?
You get heaps of black birds there too? They tend to chase away our native birds but not as bad as cuckoos.
You have lovely family PomPom.
Enjoy the cooler weather.
looked like a fun Birthday dinner. Angel Pie's profile is adorable, btw.
What a great post full of big blue eyes and happy smiles. I'm so glad you had a good birthday.
P.S. Love the blanket!
Such sweet pictures of your little angel girl. She is just pink. You make me laugh, about fashion disaster day. I am pretty sure I could find the outfits too.
I like your polka dot blanket.
It looks like you had a nice weekend.
It is always nice to stop by.
Plum Cake continues the long tradition of dress up at Granny's house. Isn't it amazing how quickly they go from being a baby to being a little girl?
Yes, we have many grackles or starlings. I guess they're considered a nuisance bird, but I'm impressed by their large vocabulary of sounds. They are great mimickers. (sp?)
Beautiful family! I'm enjoying the signs of fall here. Thanks for sharing, Pom! XO
LOVE that you got to go out with just your kids. I like to watch Parenthood...a family with four grown children...and sometimes they hang out all together without other family and I wonder if my own 4 will have that sort of relationship when they are out on their own and married. Often on the show they are discussing their parents so that part doesn't delight me but I guess that is life.
So nice that you got to have dinner with your children--love the picture of your family together. Beautiful! I hope you'll post pix of Fashion Disaster Day!

What a beautiful, happy, smiley family you are! What a treat to get together with your kids and hubby. The angel baby is adorable -- those blue eyes like Gran's.
I keep thinking the birds will fly soon for southern climes. I'm enjoying them while they are still here.
I could just smooch those little cheeks and feet all day long! She is AAAdorable!
