Sea Views

I'm back from Washington!  The flights and shuttles were easy.  I knit in the airport and on the plane.

I met my brother's family goats.

I walked a fun trail with my sister in law.  This area is called Bayview.
We went to Guemes Island.

Every day we had iPad lessons.  My mom is such a good learner.  It didn't take long for her to understand and enjoy her new iPad.

I need a little time to regroup because it's almost my birthday month and I plan on happy birthday-ing myself quite a bit.  My new bike came and it's beautiful!  I can ride faster and follow different paths.  I sing while I ride (when there aren't a bunch of people around).  It's gleeful, I tell you!

I shall make a list of September doings.  What are you going to do?  Could you buy yourself a few school supplies?  Maybe you need a new backpack?  How about a new cardigan?  The garden is begging me to pull things up and make more room.  I have a lot of new Norwex cloths for fall cleaning.  We have children's musicals every weekend.  Wow.  I'm realizing September is going to be very full.  I think my birthday partying might be hard to squeeze in.  Maybe I should bake and eat my cake now.

Are you sad to say good bye to August?

Thank you for popping in.  I'll be back soon with news of The Jolly Postman and his trip around the USA and then across the pond.

God be with you!

Welcome home, I missed you 😊The first wool picture made me smile. I'm glad you had a good time. Your Mom is inspiring. Happy birthday month. England is already feeling Autumnal, we had our first log fire this week and the heating has been on! All seasons are good. God bless you. x

What a wonderful time you had. Has your Mama settled into her new place ok? It looks lovely. You're going to be busy, come September! Loving your new yarn, what is it? Have a good settling-in time. I wanted to buy a new bike and when I told my sister about it, she said 'oh don't you go buying a new bike, you're apt to fall off it and break something'! which put paid to my enthusiasm. Tons of love to you. xxx

What a super trip, and in such lovely scenery. I reminds me a little of Cornwall.
It's becoming Autumnal here and the warmth of Summer is no longer with us, sadly.

Glad you had such a nice time on your holiday.
I used to like to bike ride but there are just way too many HILLS around here. Hard to believe Aug is coming to an end already.

Good morning, Pom Pom! Your September sounds happy!!! Lots to do. Yes, I am so so relieved that August is nearly done, and we can head into autumn, which I want to pass V E R Y slowly. (I nearly typed "glowly," which would be a nice word for autumn!) I love that knitting up there at the top. Very pretty stitches. Glad you had a lovely visit with family up there among those magical islands and swishy beaches. Your mom looks like a dear :)

The goats - so cute! That yarn is a gorgeous colour. What a wonderful trip you must have had. We still have two more weeks at least of lockdown but hopefully we will be able to plan some trips soon. It seems like forever since I have seen anyone!

Oh dear, I'm very late to this tea party. Maybe I could some cake crumbs from under your table?! Bayview made me smile- it's the name of a famous hotel right beside the sea on our north coast. All the trendy people go there. I have been inside once in my life!

I bought myself a school dress. Intended it to be a daily uniform to avoid having to think much about to wear, but also to keep all my other clothes covid clean! However, when it came it was the most sublime garment I have ever pulled over my head! So now it's my Sunday gown and the rest are covid clothes.

Maybe I should join the Norwex revolution? A friend is a rep. We bought lots of their masks and the boys prefer them to my handsewn ones. Sigh!
