Even though we had snow, the blossoms are hanging on. Gorgeous.
I reached over the back fence and helped myself to some lilacs. Mmmmmmmm.
My sister and I stayed very busy! We went to the downtown bookstore, then to Lamb Shoppe. I had never been to this yarny feast because it's not close to our house. Wow!
Then we had lunch at Mad Greens and headed to the pottery outlet. She reacted like everyone does, "Wow, this is overwhelming!"
The next day we headed north to Longmont so we could visit this little Paris in the west! The Cheese Emporium was QUITE the shopping experience. I bought a few gifts and two things I'll show you another day.
Noah and James came over, too. Noah still lets Granny wrap him in the butterfly wing shawl. Little snoozer.
He can sit up now! Yay, Noah!
Kelli and Jenny (on the left and in the middle) and Jenny's sister in law ran a race on this fine morning. Huff puff. Good girls.
They gave us palms at church today. One more week until glorious Easter! Woo hoo!
Before I go, I thought you might like a Pom Pom video. Wait! It's not Pom Pom but a small clown wearing Pom Pom's wig, bib, shoes, and nose!
Thank you very very much for stopping in!

Those little skinny clown legs! You always have so much family time going on! I managed a few hours in the garden with college boy/hubby as we are having a heatwave here this weekend. University boy had to work :(
That really looked like some fun if not overwhelming shopping. Glad you had some fun with your sister. Look at that little guy sitting already, sweet! Your little tea drinker is a cutie, too. Yay for Easter! Waving my hands as palms...
Little clown is ADORABLE!!! lol I really love that you could spend time like that with your sister. Love your little Rose and the big boy that sits up now.
Hard to believe Easter is almost here although it was a LONG winter. Just praying we don't get snow now! lol xo Diana
Hello dear Pom Pom. WoW!!! that pottery store ... how would you ever choose from such an amazing display. I think I would like one of everything. As in the wool shop too !!! Your shops look just beautiful & their displays are so tempting. I love your little tea drinker - Noah is growing so fast. Have a wonderful week dear friend xxx
I would be overwhelmed in that amazing pottery shop.
Oh my gosh, I love the Lamb Shoppe! I think we've discussed this before. I haven't been there in about four years but what a great shop. That whole neighborhood is full of great things to see and do. I can't believe how beautiful your flowering trees are, and even through snow! Wow. That's so nice. I hope you're enjoying warmer weather now. Take care and have a good week!
Wow! That looks like a shopping trip even *I* could enjoy! I *hate* shopping, but these places, especially the Lamb Shoppe, look so charming (and I don't even knit!). Sweet children.
There's something for all the senses in this post. Beautiful little tea drinker and cute little baby boy ( oh I love that little tuff of hair) just as sweet as can be. Pretty pottery, blossoms a plenty and beautiful yarn. Sounds like a glimpse of paradise.
We had palms also today in our church. It's hard to believe we're into Holy Week.
Hugs, Julia
Oops... I forgot to mention the soft peaceful kitty is also something for the senses .

I love when you start your post off with Sir Timothy. He's such a charmer. You are way ahead of us with blooms so I thank you for sharing yours. They are lovely. I doubt I would have come home without a half a dozen pottery mugs *love* as I love good pottery. Your grands are so cute and look at Noah sitting up like a big guy. Ahhh... Enjoy the week before Easter. It's a beautiful time of year.
You have Lilacs!! I'm envious.
Lovely shops you and your sister visited... So much to see ( and to resist!) I love the trays with the colourful bottoms.
Beautiful spring blooms! I'm looking forward yet to that.
The shopping spree you and Sis took was amazing. I'd be overwhelmed with the pottery too. So pretty, but so much in one space.
Blessed Palm Sunday to you!
That picture of Rose is heart-melting.
The pottery shop looks packed with pretty things. Lovely pictures of little Noah. Skinny clown is James? So sweet.
Wow, that pottery outlet is amazing. One could look at all that beautiful pottery forever. AND...that colour-filled "all things yarny" shop, just gorgeous! Beautiful blossoms and your sweet, sweet Noah is very clever!
Your shopping adventures look like so much fun. Those look like my kind of stores. Your blooms like so nice. I'm glad the snow didn't kill them. The children are adorable.
xx Beca
WOW! That is a LOT of shopping. I would have been overwhelmed with all that beautiful crockery too!!Did you buy any yarn? Baby Noah is just too adorable. I'll be taking tea with my two tomorrow evening for a sleepover too since the schools are on Easter Break this fortnight. Good on your gorgeous girls on their run. At this moment, I'm watching a BBC programme with Michael Portillo called Great American Railroad Journeys and he's travelling the length and breadth of America by train and is just about to disembark in Lamar, Colorado. Have you been there?
Have a joyous week my Good Christian Friend. I listen to Radio Scotland in the mornings before I rise and everyday they have someone on giving their 'thought for the day' and today a lovely kind-sounding man came on to talk about the current situation in Syria and he said that although we may be unable to help in a practical way, as long as we had compassion, that was a good start. I'm going to try and be a little more compassionate from today onwards. xxx
So lovely to see the pretty flowers and the pretty yarns!
Beautiful.
Wow, there's always so much going on in your life! Thanks for all the eye candy! I suppose I've mentioned that my step-son and daughter-in-law live in Longmont? I haven't been back there in so long it's surreal to think of you there! Lovely shops. That tea looks delicious! God bless all of your big, wonderful family!
Looks like you had such a wonderful time. Noah and a Timothy are such cuties!
Love all your blooming flowers. So pretty!
Take care!
Robin
How cute your video is with James? I really love seeing all of the fun things you did with your sister. It looks like you had a fun week. I love your pictures always.
Oh I love lilacs, there smell is heavenly. Ours don't even have buds on them yet.
What a fantastic yarn store. Wonderful colors.
WOW the pottery store is fabulous. I have a small collection and love it all.
What a darling little clown! So sweet! What an amazing day you and your sister had, oh the choices in the pottery store, and the yarn shoppe too! Oh my! And that Timothy... boy he sure is a napper, and I bet he doesn't like you being out and about shopping, when you should be napping with him, lol! Have a blessed Easter my friend :)
Wow! Lilacs, already? My neighbor just offered me some starts from his lilacs, as he is thinning his clump. Oh yes, please!
Spring is looking good in your neighborhood, Pom!
