Timothy, Noah, and Knitting

Hello from Timothy's kingdom.  Lol!  He's so spoiled.  We all greet him with enthusiasm when he appears and everyone smooches him.  He had a few bad days because he ventured into George's (Jenny's big cat) territory down in the basement (cruising for a bruising) and got quite a whomp (bruise).  Now we have to keep the door shut until Jenny's family moves out on Saturday.

We'll miss our granny and grampy times!
He looks big in pictures.  Adorable.
We walked to a nearby park and the glow is gorgeous.

The marigolds in front are so autumn-y!
I'm working on an autumn-y project.  It's designer Stephen West's Penguono (a coat-like sweater a penguin might wear - LOL!)
Here is the lovely mommy and darling Noah with his peepers open.
Looks a little like Daddy here.  Ha!
Scott brought his smoker to our house and the smoked dinners have been delicious.  It's fun to sit out on the patio, smell the smoke and pretend like I'm at the beach.  It sort of makes my sinuses hurt, though.
Here's more of my Penguono with a few added colors.
Here are a few photos of the pattern.
It's fun to dig in my stash and find so many colors that kind of go together.  Mine won't be as artsy and "wonky in a fun way" as the designer's, but I like making such an outrageous granny garment.

Here's a photo of my yarn guard.  Aw!  Don't you love his ears?
I hope your fall is going well (or your spring if you are down under!)
Thank you for popping in!

Your grandson is adorable! Beautiful mom too. Love Timothy, hope he is over his bruising. The Fall is gorgeous here too, my favourite time of the year.
Have a good week!

Noah is beautiful. I did a double-take when I saw your post's title because my husband has some relatives who are twins, named Noah and Timothy!

Aw, Pom Pom, there is no cat sweeter than a wee little brown tabby. *smooch* I won't tell Audrey I said that. Anyway, she's busy with her big lion nose in the step-back cupboard. lol Your grands are so sweet. I'm sure you will miss them. I have to say you do take on a challenge with your knitting. I would need someone to guide me through that sweater. Look forward to seeing it on you. Love the last photo of King Timothy. :) Deb

Don't you wonder how you did all that you did when you worked? Love the kitty. You will get used to having him around. And a new baby boy? Congratulations. That's how long I have been MIA, I guess. Yes we need another get together. Come up with a suggestion. Perhaps one of these days when you in Ft. Collins or I decide when I need a trip to Norm's Dollhouse Store. Enjoy fall.

Beautiful grandson and your hubby looks so content reading to your granddaughter.

Kitty is so cute and I am sure he wants to help you with the yarn.

Great photos - enjoy the week,

Mary

Timothy is adorable! I love that he guards your yarn. I love his little ears. I am so glad you have such beautiful weather. Your bright days are so nice.
Noah and his pretty Mommy are just awesome. We love our smoker. How nice you have someone to cook.
You will miss them very much.
Have a delightful evening. I really like what you are knitting.

Love the granny garment you are diving into. Such fun! It's sort of like the knitting version of coloring outside the lines. ;)

Noah and Mommy are a fine pair! So beautiful together! I like your guard-cat! I hope you will make a sketch of him soon -- like Susan Branch does of her kitties. Timothy would make a good subject for art.

I like your knitting project. It looks like it's one of those freestyle type projects and I like those. I told my daughter today that I don't like following the rules when it comes to watercolor painting. I like the free-spirit methods!

I always love to see grands with their grandparents...so precious. Kitties always add so much entertainment, too. We love all food off the smoker here. Your new little is so precious. What a blessing.

Wow, it's still pretty green where you are. We've lost most of our leaves already. Must have been a few really windy days!
It's fairly warm for October, though.
That Timothy is a real scene stealer. He looks like a cozy knitting companion.
Little Noah is darling. I need to see more of my little new grandson!
Happy knitting! You'll have to model that sweater for us! :)

Sweet Timothy is having just the bestest life at his new home. Your marigolds look wonderful & colourful ... I often plant them round my vegie garden as they encourage good bugs to come. Noah is just delightful .... as is your new jacket you are knitting. x x x

I LOVE that cardigan. Look at how accomplished your knitting is! Is it outrageous? NO. Just very you x I love the glimpses of orange, Autumn wool. I am boldly wearing my completely orange dress to school today, and am endeavouring to be bright enough to merit it!

That is a cute thought about kitty being yarn guard. Love your outrageous knit.

Timothy sure is a sweetie, so fun to be able to knit and have him cuddle with you. I'm surprised he doesn't try to play with the yarn, lol! Your cardigan is beautiful too :) Hugs to you today!

I was talking with a friend yesterday and she had smoked turkey (for Thanksgiving) but wasn't very impressed.
Poor Timothy went downstairs and found out not everyone loves him. It's a hard lesson.
Have a great week.
