Wool and Plants

Here is the yellow knitting.  Soft.
The rain knocked a hollyhock down so she came inside.  Funny summer accessories, the fan and the oil diffuser.
I grew cucumbers and I shall make pickles.

Here's what I feel led to do:  EAT MORE PLANTS
USA bunting still hangs on the patio.
Little golden baby found the Hershey's Kisses.
 My new laundry toys.
 More PLANTS!
Granny's custom knitting.  Samantha found a pattern she likes and proceeded to choose yarns (wools AND nonwools, yikes!) for the knitted cat she'd like to have.  I told her that Granny is a slooooooow knitter.

Pasta salad for a family lunch.  We're going to Kelli's and guess who will be there?  All ten grands!  Yay!
I forgot to show you my toadstool skipping rope.  Cute, huh?
How is August treating you so far?  The flowers certainly like it!  I am feeling very luxurious, not having to do the mental countdown toward school.  Yay!
Thank you for stopping in today.

Good morning, Pom Pom!
That yellow yarn is so creamy-dreamy...
I have been setting out plates of sugar snap peas and celery for myself lately. And putting fans by windows!

I love, love so much that you aren't doing that this year. I remember last year, I was doing it with you. :)
Have a lovely day with all of your family and all of the grands. It sounds great and your eating lots more plants is inspiring.
I like your Hollyhocks!

Nice colours of wool. Makes me wish I could knit.

Isn't it just luxurious to have another 29 August mornings to look forward to. Then the September ones, and the October..... We are blessed.

I'm impressed by your cucumbers! I didn't grow any veg this year. I did have some runner bean plants but they shrivelled and died when we were in France. I'm quite enjoying not having to care for the veg plants and giving more attention to the flowers. After a very hot few weeks, we have just had lots of rain which is a relief as the garden really needed it. X

I am currently reading in front of the identical fan. Your knitting is lovely and mixing fibers will be fine for that cute little project. Oh I love your garden veggies. I'd welcome even one little tomato. My garden is NOT GOOD this year. Have a wonderful weekend!

Aw, so glad that you get to skip the part about counting down to the first day of work!

Beautiful hollyhocks!

I'm all for eating more plants. Just have to get better at actually doing it!

Your knitting projects look so complex! I admire your skill!

Your laundry products are so cute and retro. Do they work well?

I can't imagine what it would be like to have all of my grands in one house. You are blessed, lady!

Great colors of yarn. That was some rain last week, wasn't it? I do like your choice of plants to eat.

It's lovely to eat the fruits of our labour from earlier in the year. I picked a whole load of plums today and made a plum upside down cake!! Take care xx

Clearly you won't run out of lovely things to do and make.

I recently saw a bread and butter pickle recipe that keeps a month or so in the fridge with no canning. It sounded good enough to tempt me. What kind do you make?

You make getting healthier look like such yummy fun with all your beautiful produce and cute jump rope. I know you're already feeling the benefits. I'm trying to add more veggies to my diet too. I don't have a problem with the fruits, but veggies aren't quite as appealing to me. I wish you well!

Hi, you! Look at all your knitting! I really like those laundry tins. Are they new? Because that have that lovely old '50s look, ya know? Seems like you're eating very healthily these days.
