Washing Polka Dots

There are dishes in all the main rooms of our house, so instead of tediously dusting, sometimes I simply gather them up, put them in the dishwasher, and replace them on the shelves and tables when they are shiny and clean.
Doing that AND washing sheets, towels, and quilts feels "housey" to me.
Looking at berries and summery vegetables is making me LONG for spring.  I hope the weatherman is right and we are blessed with some iceberg-melting 50 degree weather later this week.

When I return home late this afternoon, I'd like to used my freshly washed polka dot teapot for an entire pot of tea.  Quite honestly, I'm usually pretty care worn by the end of the school day, but I shall take my vitamins right now and pace myself.  Here's to a LOVE month full of tipping teacups and dreams of spring!

What a nice way to end your day, polka dot tea. I bought a package of those sweet little peppers. Very tastes. I get to stay in today. It is foggy and cold. Stay warm.

Spring is coming! I hardly believe it myself, but it must be true, right? Love the picture of the berries! I want to grow raspberries this summer.

too smart, Karen! I cram everything into the dishwasher, no need in handwashing unless absolutely necessary.

That teapot makes me happy and I'm not even a tea drinker. Here's to warmer weather and some sunshine.

I hope that I get to join you for tea one day Pom. I'd love to pour tea from your polka dot teapot. We are loving the late summer plums here & just getting ready to enjoy the first crunchy apples in our neck of the woods. I don't think I'd like to have thick snow very much. Isn't it amazing that your grass bounces back so green & fresh after being frozen so solid!? Much love GK x0x0x

It would make me smile to open your dishwasher. I can see why a polka dotted tea would be just the thing after a busy day at work.
I had raspberries on my cereal this morning. They were surprisingly good for this time of year. Those peaches look so good to me. Can't wait til we can eat them freshly picked once again.
