Friend Smile

Last weekend it was colder.  We have temperatures in the 30's now and Kelli says it feels like a heat wave.  I am still cold.  I am wearing a wool cardigan over my pajamas.

Last weekend before the Broncos were beaten so badly, I met my old soccer friend for coffee.  When our girls played soccer and we had to travel to other states, we roomed together.  We've known each other for a long time.
I like her brown twinkly eyes and her happy laugh.
This morning I'm meeting Kelli and Jenny for breakfast so we can celebrate Kelli's birthday (a day late).  FUN!
A question for you . . . what form of chocolate are you going to eat this week?  It's the time for goodies of the chocolate kind.
Thank you for popping by!

I'm staying away from chocolate but I do love a good breakfast with friends and family. It's cold here too but today it's raining in the valleys. I'll take that snow in the mountains any day!

Chocolate - I am making fruit and nut cluster - dried apricots, dried cherries, almonds mixed in dark choc or white choc. - yum :)

Sea salt caramels covered in chocolate is my choice for the week!:) Love the picture of you and your friend - two lovely ladies that look like FUN (and perhaps a bit of mischief?)! Have a great day! Lori

I'm sure you had loads of fun celebrating Kelli's birthday.
We have so much snow here and it just keeps coming! We have over a foot of the white stuff on the ground right now.
Come on Spring!!!
XoXo,
Danette

You and your friend are both twinkle sisters! How fun to get together again. It's still really cold here and snowing again. Got up to 12* today and windy. Oh, biting cold, go away. Please send us 30*.

Hello there
Came over from Liz's blog and see you have the same problem with all that white stuff as just about everyone else in the northern hemisphere. We've got lots of heat - too much actually, would you like some??
What are the near by mountains called - their snow caps look dramatic against the bluish sky
Take care
Cathy

Haha, what kind of chocolate?? None. I give it to my kids and my husband because I need the boxes. :)
I have lots of sewing projects I want to do. Your friend looks like she is so much fun and you look so happy. You can see the Rockies, I love the Rocky Mountains. I love seeing them with snow. Even your icicles are beautiful.
My friend told me how cold it was when she went out to drive her school bus. It was very cold.
Have a delightful Sunday.

Oh wow! You both have such twinkly eyes! Was a joy to see your pretty face. I have said it before & will say again - this blog is such a happy place!

Your snow looks so pretty. I love the thought of your wool cardi over your jammies. That is how I roll around in the mornings here too...with a warm pair of mocs to boot. :)

Awesome pic! Beautiful faces. :) I think I will endulge with some petit fours. But I will not turn my nose up at any form of chocolate. :) Have a great week! Kit

I've finished my chocolate orange, so we're just having ordinary milk chocolate - 1 square an evening (or maybe two!)

Oh, look at your bright, pretty eyes and lovely smile! Well, regarding chocolate, I JUST finished a warm bowl of cooked chocolate pudding. Yum. One of my favorite, ultimate comfort foods. I bought Adam a hard-core 86% chocolate bar, but for me, just a gentle dark chocolate with toffee inside -- both by Ghirandelli.
