Teapot Shaped

A friend gave me a teapot from the Polish pottery warehouse.  It's so shiny and blue and has the loveliest shape.  I wish teapot-shaped was in fashion.  Mrs. Pots is cute, right?  I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
I drag my shawl around the house like a thumb-sucking blanket.  I think the secret to shawl-making (confession:  I've only knit two) is making it BIG.  Cuddly and BIG.
The tea that Mouse sent me is beautiful.  Look at the papery colors!  The tea tastes delightful, too!
We now have trees on the floor. Bargain rug!
Come little fairy!  Come out from your fairy house buried in snow!  Have a warm cuppa.
My friend Sandra sent me this tiny crockery.  Precious!
Now it is time for a random question.  What is your favorite thing to wear at the moment (sorry, pajama pants don't count)?  Do you find yourself reaching for one cozy sweater over and over?  A certain soft pair of jeans?  Why do we have multiple EVERYTHING?  If you had to pare down to just a few articles of clothing in your drawers and closets, what would you choose to keep? Do tell.
I choose a pair of khaki colored pants that have a tiny bit of stretch and a polar fleece pullover that my mom gave me (black).  I might have to add a colorful scarf because we have parent/teacher conferences tonight.  I can't wait to hear about your favorite cozy clothes.

I like your tree rug - being a tree hugger I am very drawn to it. Clothes to hang on to? cobwebby teal green lacy cardi and a navy dress with teal and white flowers - I am wearing it today and is my favourite - ankle booties with fur trim and my good old fake fur coat of many years wear! these things make me feel cosy and 'me'

Love the tea pot and that rug is just fab :)
My favourite clothes - fitted t shirts - layered together, my vest (yes really!!), my husbands socks, black trousers and boots and I must wear a cowl or scarf - even in doors!!
Have had a mega wardrobe clear out!

Your teapot is so pretty! I love to sing the 'Little Teapot Song' to my grandchildren.

I love that teapot in your top picture and your lovely shawl. I would take it with me every where too. I love those bright colors and I do love your bight rug.
To tell you the truth I love my current jeans. I love them, I am always sorry they are in the wash like today. I have three pullovers that I rotate. They are soft and warm and comfy. I save them for stress days because they make me feel happy.
Have a lovely day.

Love that colorful tree rug! I'm a little teapot shaped myself. I decided to begin a little exercise program. And I mean LITTLE. I have my yoga mat rolled up in the bathroom, and while I'm in there doing my morning routine I do some sit-ups (crunches), push ups, and a few flexibility exercises. Just a few minutes, but more than I have been doing! I discovered this morning that I've lost 10 pounds. Just from changing my eating patterns to more fruits and veggies and real foods. Yay! My favorite clothes are yoga pants, stretchy pullover long sleeved T's and a flannel shirt if I get cold. I have always hated to clothes shop and get by with as little as possible. Fashion has never been my thing. ;)
Enjoy that beautiful tea. I have four days off! Woo hoo!

NICE rug!!! And the tea bags are cool! I always find it funny that in France, the teabags are all seperate! The tea pot is pretty too! Maybe we could all wear an outfit inspired by your teapot, your idea is not so crazy!? A new take on Style imitating art- Style imitating crockery per chance?!

Hmmm, in terms of what do I like wearing and would always keep? Well, I do have several pairs of trousers I wear for work when I am feeling tired and unwell or it's wet and rainy and horrid- they're wide legged and I've had them for ages and they're not at all stylish!!!! And I have a turquoise knitted dress I love to wear- plus my bunny jumper is something I keep wearing this winter! Oh and a furry scarf!x

Good question! I wear a bed-jacket quite often in the winter evenings, when I need coverage on top. It's polyester and has that funny, old-fashioned quilted texture, pale blue.
I'd keep my two pair of yoga pants, stretchy and just right. And a very big hooded sweatshirt with a front pouch pocket.
Pretty teapot!

So is your shawl a hint that you are a Broncos fan? Will you be watching the game?

I love that polish pottery. It reminds me of Prague. I like wearing an oversized hoodie with no bra.:) TMI?

lovely tea things; both the large and the small~! and that rug is perfect for brightening a winter day.

my favorite cozy clothes are worn in blue jeans and a soft t-shirt. simple, quick and comfy. oh, i would add to that a pair of warm, lovingly mended wool socks.

i hope that your conferences went well.

Darling teapot, Pom! I can dream about sitting with it, with you, and pouring tea for each other....

Hi PomPom, I love your Polish tea set. As you may have noticed I have a couple of them. My fave and most comfortable outfit is my pair of leggings and a jumper. No need to worry about any creases.

Have fun in parent teacher interview.

Your photos are a feast for the eyes! I am reminded that I need a new teapot. I love blue and white!

Hmmm, my go to clothes. One pair of jeans with a nice T and a purple sweater. When I'm at home though, I have a purpley blue hoodie that I love. I generally end up wearing it with sweats. Sad, I know, but I love comfort and warmth. Perhaps I should knit a shawl.

Blessings!

Sweet Polish teapot. And so's the little set. And your rug is really nifty too.

Like you, I tend to wear the same clothes over and over, but I'm at home and my work is outdoors so for me, well-worn jeans and a long sleeved T is my comfortable uniform almost every day. I would like to get some Ts in some colors that I like. I have a big western sweater that I wear around the house when it's cold. Hubs calls it Tex.

The tea pot is lovely and so is the rug. I've taken to wearing more skirts and dresses this winter as I got fed up of always wearing jeans. I have a favourite dress which is stretchy and very comfortable. It's black with pretty vintage flowers on it and it goes with most things. Maggie xx

The teapot and mug is gorgeous, as is you tree rug. I don't have a favourite outfit right now as I am not out much and end up going with navy sports trousers, a long top and an enormous big black fleece. So boring and I cant wait to start being out and about. Agree about the shawl, big and snuggly is the only way to go.

I'm glad you are enjoying the tea, dear pompom. I just like to wear cosy clothes that keep me warm - usually baggy fleeces. I like to wrap myself in my slanket from time to time, but it's not very practical as I trip over the hem!
