Come on in! I'll open the tiny pink door and you can tour the house. I've set the table for tea and even swept the floor and dusted the shelves.
I'll read you a little Robert Louis Stevenson, too.
April invited me to tea quite some time ago and I had been looking forward to it! Everything in this tiny tea shop was so delicate and inviting.
I chose almond tea and this pink teapot poured out. Delicious.
April and I both loved this tufted princess chair.
Pick a hat!
This tea shop was in a little town named Eton. We drove through Alt, Colorado (another sweet little town) and out the window I spied a sheep farm! Can you see the dark brown sheep?
Daddy stayed home with the kids so April and I could get away. Oh, Tiny A! He's so snuggly!
Aria was napping, but Finn smiled for Granny.
Of our nine grands, Miss CB is the first. Birdie followed a few months later! The cousins have pals and they adore each other. Sweet CB is always so affectionate. Oh, how I love this dear rosy face.
So, my spring break is over. It's our Jeff's birthday today! Twenty seven years ago I was in the hospital cooing over a new baby boy! What a great day!
I have eight weeks of school remaining. Four weeks of studying drama and expository writing and then four weeks of folk tales. It'll be fun!
Thank you for stopping by and checking on me.

sweet kids and sweet sheep! :)
Thank you, TexWis! I think I fixed that irritating spam problem now. Thank you for suggesting it.
I don't like word verification either, so I hope that little adjustment helps!
What a nice tea party you and April had. She's pretty.
I like the sheep. I don't think I've ever seen an all-brown sheep. Sometimes ours have tan spots or patches on them.
Your grandkiddos are so cute. They're lucky to have a granny like you.
31 years ago, I was cooing too....and terrified!Happy Birthday to your Boy.
Your grandchildren are divine - I never had such trendy glasses at that age - too cute.

I'd love to live in that mushroom house! Especially the upstairs room! My mom used to go to a tearoom like this where you could pick a hat and some jewelry to get dressed up. I wonder... (It was in Colorado.)
Sweet grands! I love CB's glasses! Have a happy rest of the year!
:)
It sounds like you will have a very busy eight weeks. If you are like me I bet it doesn't feel like 27 years ago does it?
All of your grands are just precious.
I always enjoy stopping in for a visit.
What beautiful grandchildren. You are blessed.
Love the mushroom house. How lovely for you to spend time with your smalls.
I just bought that Tasha Tudor for Ginger - it's gorgeous.

The toadstool house is adorable! I have that book too, though a different version, not the one illustrated by Tasha Tudor :)
The tearoom looks an absolute delight too!
I hope you are having a lovely day :) xxx

Well, Pom Pom, do you know that you drove right by my house. Well almost. We are just south of 14 as you go through town. I recognized the red chairs in the photo and thought--"It has to be--." Then the hats and I knew it. The little tea room is lovely. I've taken the granddaughters there and they love it. I am glad that you enjoyed it, too.
Your tea looked like such an inviting party to join.
Yes, I found the brown sheep.
Lovely little grands.
I had such a wonderful time with you, MP! Thank you for sharing in tea and conversation with me. I love you!
No doubt about it, those cuties are siblings. Your tea date looked like fun, but I thought we would see a picture of you wearing one of those hats! :)
