Sunday Stroll

I'm joining Aisling's Sunday Stroll today. I thought you might want to take a look at the cinnamon bread first.  Doesn't it look delicious?  It was scrumptious!
It's been cold around here, but today it is 60+ degrees and my neighborhood walk was comfortable.

This house is a redo.  I like the way they put in such a glorious porch with a ceiling fan.  I don't know the people who live here, but I feel sure they are full of imagination.
This house always looks so crisp.  I have never seen actual people outside of this house.  They must be busy.

There were other people out following the old sidewalks.
It's a good day for swinging.

I looked for Ratty along the banks of this creek.

It seems like it is taking forever for the fruit trees to blossom.  Sigh.

Finally some neighbors came out to say, "Hello!"

 The Rockies are still snowy.
This cute cottage has new owners.  I do like the stoney brick front and the awnings.
Yay!  There are very few blooms about.
Back to my favorite house - ours! It's a happy little shelter from the storm.  Bill took down my vintage tablecloth garage curtains and put up his flags.  It's okay.
 He's a good grass grower, isn't he?
Back inside.  Thank you for strolling with me!

Lovely neighborhood. I love the dogs who came out to say hello. The BEST neighbors! :)

I am so glad you strolled. I added a link to my "invitation" post. Hope some others find the link and come over to share a pretty April afternoon in Pom Pom's neighborhood.

Well, Miss Pom pom, I did not see the cinnamon bread and I was so looking forward to it.

For some reason, I loved the pebble picture and the one of the tiny blue flowers. I just learned today that they are called Siberian Squill. My daughter has them coming up in her yard (their first spring there). So pretty.

What a nice walk you had. I took a walk out on the pasture grass to avoid the muck and mud. It was nice, but cold.

That was such fun, seeing your neighborhood, and see your abode :) The cinnamon bread looked scrumptious, oh yes it did!

I wonder why Jody didn't see the cinnamon bread? I saw it, and it looked scrumptious! You know what I've been longing for? A cinnamon donut. I almost never have donuts ... sigh.

Thank you for taking us on your walk! I liked seeing the houses in your neighborhood. I feel like I know some of the houses in my neighborhood better than some of my neighbors. there's one house where I've never seen the people, but I think I'd like them based on how they've decorated their porch.

It amazes me that you can see the Rockies from your street!

Today was a good day for walking, wasn't it? We worked in the yard. A nice day to do that, too. More snow tomorrow. Oh yay. Have a good week.

What a fun stroll. Thanks for sharing your neighborhood. You got some great pictures -- such interesting textures. I am not a good photographer, which I think makes me appreciate good photographers even more ;)

Oh we love strolling- that was a nice one! We stopped at the park for ages while you were photographing porches- why were there no actual people on those porches? If I had a porch I would refuse to move. Blossoms very late here too, though Mum and I have determined to go to the garden centre this week to buy a camellia each and some very colourful tubs. If the colour won't come to us....

Wish we could take a stroll too. I don't think my neighborhood is as lovely as yours but your post gives me a purpose on my next stroll....to look for the beauty in everyday things.

I like the pictures you took of the leaves, the pebbles...the beauty that often lies at our feet and is overlooked in its commonness.

We're still cold and had snow here last week. Spring has gone AWOL. I haven't even ventured out of the house.

hmm... well, maybe my favorite part was getting back to your front door and imagining sitting in those nice green chairs for a spell....

Thanks for taking us along on your stroll through the neighborhood. It looks like a friendly place.
Now that we've burned off some calories is it alright if we sit in your cheery green chairs and have a piece of that yummy looking cinnamon bread? :)

I like the flags! I didn't see your curtains before, but I know they were nice. Your house is white with green trim just like mine. Great minds and all that!

Such a lovely walk! We are at about the same spot spring growth wise. I have hyacinths and scilla blooming like crazy, but no fruit tree blossoms yet. What a pretty home you live in. I like the flags in the garage windows.

Blessings!
Deborah

Lovely to see your neighbourhood. Did you find Ratty?

I was saying only today how good it is to see the trees finally beginning to blossom.
