Plans for Fairies

It's time to think about fairies.  There are some amazing images (the fairy above was found online) and tantalizing fairy houses, ready-made for your garden!
You've probably seen some cute ideas on Pinterest, too.
Here's one of Lisbeth Zwerger's fairy illustrations.
Remember my fairy house purchased at the grocery store last year?  Remember how it fell from the curtain pole and broke?  Sad face.
My Christmas tree fairies are still hanging around the living room.  When I get all my fresh garden dirt (as soon as this spring snow melts) I want to do some fairy-playing in the chimney flower bed.  I may plant some more hollyhocks so the fairies can dance under them.    I may make a little rock dance floor for them and look for tiny lamp posts and benches to place around their miniature arena.  I could make bunting, too.  Itty bitty bunting.  Do you have plans for the fairies?

Oh, I love fairies! My mom believes they exist. The illustration up there is so beautiful. This is probably a silly question, but have you ever seen the lovely fairy movie, "Fairy Tale: A True Story"? It's a favorite. Here is the link to tell about it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119095/
I think you'd enjoy it -- if you haven't already seen it :)

I love fairies and I did see lots of fairy ideas in Pinterest!

I wish I could buy a fairy house from our local supermarket here in OZ. But they're not easy to find.
May your hollyhocks grow quickly so the fairies can enjoy their beautiful blooms and flutter their wings around them.

Blessings,

Aida

I should find a place in my flowerbed for them this summer. I always think about places they could live.
I like yours it is very nice.

Oh I bought the tiniest loveliest little thing for you yesterday that I have yet to post. I think it could fall under the fairy banner- isn't that funny? Must find an envelope...

My garden fairies all lost their wings last year. Maybe it was a virus! Well, I kept one, she was special, but the others were replaced with gnomes, who are now trying to find their way out from under the oak leave into the sum light. I think I may have to go fairy shopping again soon.
Enjoy your day! ♥

ah, it' only natural that your garden planning should include fairyfolk! Though I think the real ones will likely show up in your flowerbeds after this post gets around.

I'd be happy just to get the lingering fall leaves that blew in raked up. Can't wait to see what you do in your garden this year

Yeah, I got plans. If they show up here, I'm gonna put 'em to work! I'm planting pansies and daisies this week so that gives 'em a hiding place. Smart fairies.

Good to see you gearing up for spring/summer fun with the fairy folk!
I had a dream last night about a big beautiful shade tree full of twittering birds. Looking forward to hearing more of those!
Have fun fashioning a flowery wonderland for your resident fairy population! :D

I have some fairy bath tub rocks they should like and also a little log with a perfect door/hole. I can't wait til the fairies show up. I think they're still underground...it's too cold for them yet.

I am hoping to put in a fairy garden this year too. I'm not sure how to keep Maverick away from it yet though. :oO
