Pink Breakfast

My mother-in-law made this delicate apron long, long ago. I like to think she wore high heels with it as she entertained card playing, pencil skirt clad friends.

Watch out Dove bunny. You are going to be my number two bunny when I feel like eating delicious Easter chocolate loveliness. (She's safe for now. I'm not feeling it.)

Mmmmmm. Froot Loops and a nut brown egg. Lemonade, too. Today: SWEET PEA PLANTING! I know it's best to plant them on President's Weekend, but I completely forgot. Pink Saturday is a fine day for a good dig.
Have a fantastic day and weekend. I'm so delighted that it is time to spring our clocks ahead. It means longer days, warmer days. Flowers. Bliss.
If you want to scout out all the Pinkies, head on over to Beverly's How Sweet the Sound! Thank you so much for popping in today. I'm honored.

I'm planning on planting Sweet Peas next weekend. Your m-i-l's apron is darling. So sweet and feminine. I love your pink bunny egg cup, cereal bowl, ceramic basket and your pretty pink lemonade. Have a fun weekend and Happy Pink Saturday.

First, I saw those gorgeous zinnias at the top! I love zinnias!
Then the adorable apron. So very sweet. Not sure I'm into the Fruit Loops and lemonade, but the egg....yes!

Sweet Peas sound nice. Too much snow and frozen earth for that here, but I'm glad somebody is planting flowers.

Oh sweet peas, yay! I'm lucky here, I can plant them most of the year. But I remember when I lived in Sydney how excited I was to plant them in March. Happy planting!

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I wish that Froot Loops were sold over here, I've always wanted to try them, every time I see someone eating them in a film, I think, 'oh, they look lovely!', do they taste as good as they look? xxxx

The apron is very neat and special. Sure do like your header! The crocheted heart is not that hard, but figuring out that Ribbon Thingy was a challenge. After the third one, I think I've got it. Love to have a crochet session with you! Come on down to Texas! BTW...have a great Spring Break and trip!

What a beautiful apron! And the flowers up top made my day. I just came home from my walk and there are narcissus everywhere. I can't wait to start planting my spring garden!

I love the flowers in your header. Good luck with the planting.

oh my~!~ the gorgeous flowers in your header really are like an infusion of spring sunshine~!!~

i'm having trouble getting my head around planting anything . . . we've continued to recieve accumulations of snow and the wind is blowing it into mighty sculpted snow dunes~!~ so no sweet pea planting for me . . . you'll have to show us those sweet tender sprouts as they come up.

the chocolate bunny looks yummy . . . i'll just have that for breakfast~!~lol

:)

p.s. thank you for the Walking on Water recommendation ~ i really am enjoying what it has to offer and can already tell that it will be one of those books that i keep close by and refer to over and over again. (thinking of you every time that i do).

It's funny. My When We Were Very Young book looks exactly like your -- except my cover is green. It's even in the same condition. I wonder I they published them in different colours over that year or if different publications years had different covers.

I love nut brown eggs and fruit loops! Not at the same time though :o).

Hope you had a lovely pink Saturday!

Blessings!
Deborah
