Lamp Lit Bunny Hunt and Naked Ladies

Hi Everyone! I enjoyed my first daylight savings time after dinner walk tonight. I took a nice long stroll. I have to hike the Sydney Harbor Bridge when we get to Australia. Yikes. You can't take cameras because you might drop them. Did I mention I'm afraid of heights? Oh well, I figured I need to walk every day this week so I'm not a wimp when I get down under. So, my walk this evening featured lovely lamps and . . . bunnies!

The first bunny I saw - an injured ear. Poor baby.

I saw so many different yard lamps. We don't have them in our neighborhood, but in the next neighborhood over EVERY house has a lamp.

Oh! Another handsome bunny!

And now the naked ladies. When IS spring? The trees are elegant but so bare.

I like the moon lamp below. Now it is dark and time for bed.

This sleek kitty came out to say hello when I was almost home. Isn't he noble?
The kids were angel pies at school today. We talked about the Trojan War and the ups and downs contained in the journey of life. Tomorrow we'll go with Odysseus as he leaves Troy and heads home to Penelope. Yikes! We'll have to watch out for the Lotus Eaters and the Cyclops! I'm really getting excited for our trip and I'm all ready to go with a few days to spare. I don't think I'm going to take a computer. So, I will miss you my blogging friends. I'll be back before I leave on Thursday to say good bye. (BIG Hug!)

Hello, dear PomPom,
I enjoyed my walk with you. I am especially fond of bunnies as you probably already know! I know the children must loving studying about Troy and the Trojan War. I have an old, old Weekly Reader poster about the monsters of the Greek Myths, and the kids always love it. Enjoy your trip! Vicki

Great bunnies. I like all of the ceramic bunnies, they have been cold this year waiting for spring time!

What a lot of bunnies - and lamps! Houses here are in darkness at night and the street lights are dipped too, as we live near the airport - infact the airport is where they all hang out, little brown ones (when I worked nights up there you would see them all at 7am on the way home hopping about!)

Hi Pom Pom, thanks for your message. I am still here, just quiet on the blog front at the moment, and very busy with other things. I didn't realise you are off on a big adventure on Thursday. Have a wonderful time, dear friend, and come back with lots of exciting things to ell us about. God bless you. x

I am not fond of heights either. I do not do towers but maybe the bridge won't be too bad. Maybe???? I enjoyed noticing all the pine trees in the background of your pictures. They are beautiful.

I love that selection - you found patterns in a random walk! We have some great concrete chickens and mushrooms in a garden near us, but no bunnies, I think!

Have a wonderful time in Australia, and enjoy every bit of it, including the heights! It's got to be worth it...

Oh you're going to do the bridge climb! I'm very impressed! I was too scared! I went up the inside of one of the pylons and that was high enough for me, however you fearlessly face teenagers every day so I imagine you'll be fine! The view from the top is supposed to be amazing! I wish I was there to say hello and give you a big hug. If only we had started this blogging caper a few years ago we would have both been in the same place at the same time. You'll love Sydney, it's an incredible city. Have a great time!
