APIL: Churches in Sydney

Hello! I'm back and feeling a tiny bit groggy just yet, but I wanted to do my A Pause in Lent post before I go to sleep. It'll take me a while to get my images and thoughts sorted out. In Australia, my camera kept pointing to churches, children, boats, birds, and bright every day wonders. I found the city of Sydney dignified and strong.

We await Easter. One more week and we will be celebrating our risen Lord.
I have two new books to read, eight days of house time, and so many intriguing ideas in my mind. I look forward to sharing with you.
"And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall ear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." ~Isaiah 30:32
Visit Floss and the other A Pause in Lent participants. I missed you.

I'm so glad you are back ~ I missed you! And I am very glad you have some time at home before you go back to school. Beautiful photographs! I loved that one of the church tower rising up among the dark clouds with all that silvery light shining through. xo Kari

I love the door best. I love doors.

Hi, I popped over from Floss' A Pause In Lent. Such lovely photos. It definitely looks like you had a wonderful trip!

I especially love the photo of the flowers at the top - I'm in such a spring mood! They were a delightful encouragement on a rainy cloudy day! :)

Beautiful images - especially the doorway.
I like the music on your blog. So often I scroll down quickly to turn off the music on a blog, but yours added to the post and was very 'gentle'.

So happy you're home, Pommy!
The photographs are beautiful and I'm looking forward to more as you find time.

The door reminds me of the picture of Jesus knocking at the door.
