Stuff on the Wall

(My sister sent me a hefty gift card so I bought this new Bible. It's called the Abide Bible.  I really love it!)

We had Noah's, Lizzy's, and my birthday this month so last week meant lots of lovely celebrating.  My mom sent me tulips from tulip land in Washington.

Jenny wanted my Grandma Moses pictures.  She meant that she wanted them when we die😂 but I gave them to her now.  Anytime one of our children says they want something when we are gone, I am going to try to get them to take what they want NOW.  We'll see how that goes.  Anyway, I had to put something where the Grandma Moses pictures were so I found these Katie Daisy prints, had them laminated, and hung them in the dining room.  We aren't fancy here.  Aren't they perfect?  I especially love the "over the river and through the woods" print.

I was very sad about Queen Elizabeth's passing. I've been reading a lot about her.  My prayer group prayed about the wild and powerful hurricane that is descending upon Florida right now.

Our weather has been absolutely perfect.  It feels like fall in the mornings.

We bought a new mattress and box spring.  We are waiting for the mattress to puff up (48 hours).  We decided to search for inexpensive mattresses that had high ratings.  I hope it's comfy!  We'll try it tomorrow.

I hope you are doing well. I hope you know that you are dearly loved and paid attention to by God who made everything and IS everything.

My stomach is rumbling.  I'm going to eat some bite size shredded wheat.  What do you eat for breakfast?  I need ideas.

Sending heaps of love your way and thank you for visiting.  (BIG HUG!)

I'm laughing at you replacing the giveaways with more stuff! I'm desperately trying to rid myself of all the things I so much enjoyed collecting over the years. Glad you had a lovely birthday. I guess our little Scottish postcards to your girlies must have got lost in the mail? Have a great weekend, my friend.xxx

Belated birthday wishes!! The Tulips are absolutely gorgeous but how in the world did your Mom send you Tulips in Autumn!!!
My breakfast is just coffee and a slice of toast. That's very early before we go walking. Later I have a "second breakfast".

Happy Belated Birthday to all.
I'm a breakfast person. After my walk I'm hungry.
Favorites are
Pancakes
French Toast
Oatmeal with brown sugar
Scrambled eggs with a piece of toast
Always have a big glass of milk with everything.

Many happy returns for your birthday! the glimpses of your home look cosy and welcoming. Hubby likes bite sized shredded wheat too :) I like mango and banana smoothies, croisants with loads of butter, hot from the air fryer (to heat them up), porridge with honey (from a boy we know who keeps his own bees!) yoghurt and frozen berries - breakfast is my favourite meal of the day ;) I think giving things away while you are still alive to see folk enjoy them is a very good plan :) betty (wood fairy)

Your posters look happy! Your whole house looks happy and content :) Good for you, giving your kids what you can now. That's a good idea.
We bought a new mattress, one of those memory foam ones that has to expand when you get it shipped and open it up. I've liked it a lot, but wish I'd gotten one just a little firmer. So much better than the old one that was lumpy and hurt.
Ian is coming our way as I type with strong winds and storm surge, but nothing we aren't used to here. Enjoy your fall weather! Isn't it lovely?

Happy Belated birthday! Looks like you celebrated well and colorfully! We like to gift our children with the things of ours that they enjoy before we die. All the kids birthdays last year included an inheritance item. I like the Over the River and through the Woods, too. I do enjoy bite sized mini wheats. We just got back from England, there during the mourning period for the Queen, so solemn and sad but what a testimony of her faith we've heard. While we were in England we enjoyed the full English for breakfast but at home if I have breakfast it is usually a high fiber cereal from Trader Joe's with blueberries. Happy day to you!

Happy birthday to you. I like your posters very much. There's someting so friendly about flowers and pink.

A favorite breakfast treat I recently re-discovered is cinnamon toast. So comfortning and full of memories. I suppose the butter helps too.

Poached eggs for me. Can no longer eat porridge, unfortunately because I love it with various toppings. This is the second time I've tried to post. Hope it works. I said Happy Birthday to you on FB too, on the actual day but belated birthday greetings if you didn't get a chance to see it yet. I guess our little postcards have not reached their destinations yet? I hope they didn't get swallowed up by the mail system! Happy weekend to you, dearest Pom.xxx

I have very boring breakfast: large mug of coffee, fruit juice, several tablets, and a slice of toast, butter & marmalade. If I know it's going to be a long, or energetic, morning I have two slices of toast.

I love tulips! Those surprised me, though, sitting alongside pumpkins! But, I love the combination.

Katie Daisy is a favorite of mine, too! So cheery! My standard breakfast is an omelet with one jumbo egg, some spinach and goat cheese. Plus fruit juice. Good to see you're doing well and loving God! Hugs from Minnesota! :)
