A Rabbit and Two Tweedles and MORE!

Samantha was a brilliant White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland last weekend!
Lizzy and Millie were funny Tweedles!

We have one more show weekend and then . . . October!  Woo hoo!  I've loved September but it's been full and busy.
Lizzy is now (gasp) 8!
I went for a walk with a friend and the leaves are turning.  I pray it doesn't snow, so we can have all the colors of an Indian summer!

We went up to visit these four precious ones!

And this little darling is officially 4!
I spent a few hours cleaning up the garden.  New bunting (snow proof) is needed.  Bunting is so fun to sew!
I took the photo below of my favorite page of a new book.  It's titled Starting School and it's by Janet and Allan Ahlberg (Yes!  They wrote The Jolly Postman books!) It's an adorable story and the illustrations are precious.  Especially the one below.  A Christmas play!
Thank you for stopping in.  I hope your days are perking along well.  (HUG!)

I can't believe how much they've all grown and I can see the family resemblance in them all! Well done in the costume department! I was out walking with my two last week and we came across a posh house whose garden was being overhauled and the skip outside their house was full of those red bricks like you've got in your garden. I asked one of the workmen if I could have some of the bricks and he very kindly gave me three of them! I was dreaming all night of how they would look in my garden should I go back and get some more but when I returned the next day, the skip was already gone! Imagine all those lovely bricks going to landfill. Your garden looks so neat and tidy. xxx

That new book by the Ahlbergs looks like another good one. M has been having a bit of trouble starting school but for him it's middle school. With all the fear about Covid around he's been afraid of getting sick and bringing it home to us. Children should not have to worry about such.
My garden is in dire need of cleaning up but I'm waiting for youngest son to come and help. He's so good about such.
I hope you have a long and sunny Autumn!!!

It makes me feel old, I say all of them when they were babies! I do hope your trees get a bit of time to shine. Such lovely pictures. I do hope you have just a perfect day today.;)

You have such adorable grandchildren. I'm looking forward to beautifully colored fall leaves too. We have had rain all day today so everything looks pretty brown and wet outside. A little sunshine would sure brighten things up.

The girls are looking amazing in their costumes, and it looks like they are having a blast. I love school plays.

I'm enjoying the spectacular fall colors right now and it brings me closer to God in its beauty. My gardens are a mess and it's not important to me anymore. My prayer life has taken priority for now.

Stay safe and well.
Hugs, Julia

You're a talented costume sew-er! Everyone looks great. You have so many grands that are the same ages as mine. Aren't they fun people? Wish I slept more normally so I wasn't so grumpy half the time. They sometimes don't get the best from Grandma. (Repent, repent!) Enjoy the beauty of autumn. A lot of our leaves have been blown away already!
