Fun with Family

Hello!  I've been up in Washington with my mom and sibs.  Look at my mom getting dinner ready for her kids!  We all sat around the table and it was very special.  Two great meals were shared.
We all sat in a row (in order) at church the next morning and we all knelt at the communion rail together.  I'm so thankful for a very sweet time with family.

And there were pussy willows in the neighborhood!
Can you believe that these were blooming?  It seems way too early, even for Washington.
Miss Bug is ten years old today!  Gasp!  We went to lunch and then to the mall for a wee shopping trip.  She's such a wonderful ten year old, so full of grace and love.

Prince Snuggle Bug missed me.
I bought four packages of seeds at the grocery store the other day.  Zinnias and sunflowers!
Today it is 60 degrees.  That seems warm, but there are still piles of snow on the ground.  It's a little too early for spring anticipation, I think.
What are you up to?
I hope you are well. Thank you for visiting.

Love seeing Timothy, he's lovely as usual. It's always nice meeting up with the wider family, good to catch up with news. We've had a small amount of snow in Lincolnshire UK. Teen 2 is constantly watching out for a snow day off school. Take care Cathy x

How lovely to visit with your mum and siblings. Ooh...love the sight of those pretty pink Rhododendrons. They must look pretty against the snowy white background.

How wonderfully special to eat together, go to church together, and even take communion together. I'm glad you had a good visit with your Mom and siblings. If I'm right you even had fairly nice weather while you were there.

We shoveled snow today. A warm up though, it got above freezing.

How nice to spend time with your mom and family. I notice that in your church, I can see more older people than younger people. it's the same at our church which is so sad.
But it was lovely that you could all receive communion together. Your mom looks fantastic.

We still have so much snow and it's still so cold that I'm not tempted to start any seeds yet. Those flowers look so beautiful. I've started the countdown to spring to give me some hope. Only 45 days to spring.
Hugs, Julia

Welcome home, Pom! I know you were missed, but how sweet to have that time with your mom and sibs. (I'm also planning a trip for the same purpose later this month!) Is that a rhododendron? Azalea? Very pretty. I do wonder if we will get an early spring.

Happy Birthday to Miss Bug! I've been tempted to buy seed packets too. The stores sure put them out early. We had sunshine and warmer temperatures today and I simply could not stay inside. There's just nothing like going home to see your mother and family. Sure wish I could visit with my mom again. Love, Henny

Not thinking about spring quite yet here, but those sure are pretty flowers you found in Washington! That is a sweet little church, too!
Glad to have you back! :)

have missed your posts. Happy birthday to the princess. The church looks a small family gathering, cosy and meaningful. I visited my old housegroup buddy/leader last week and we prayed together at her house. She believes you have to be a threesome to make powerful prayer but I think it was ok. I can't imagine 60 degrees with snow! it's so very cold here right now, no chance of Spring thoughts or flowers. Rhododendron grow in the woods here as the land was once part of a landscaped manor and they overspilled, they aren't coming out yet, yours look beautiful. I went to the weight lift class at our gym and now am doing an online food shop/menu, making upside down syrup sponge/custard and laundry - so much for Sunday being a day of rest!

Your Mum looks so content in her kitchen dishing up for the family. We had a 'ten-year-old' birthday here too, last week. Our ten-year-old is a sweet soul too. I love her and her sister so very much. No snow here yet but very, very cold. I'm heartily fed-up with the weather now!Have a good week, Pom-Tiddly-Om-Pom.xxx

it is going to be almost 80 here tomorrow! Today was nice as well. We are going to get too used to this -- but it is going to get cold again later in the week.

It looks like you had a wonderful gathering with family. How nice! My brothers and I do not end up in the same place at the same time very often. I wish we did!

I love the glimpses of spring you offer. We have rain today, drizzling over our mountains of snow. And tomorrow it is supposed to be 19 degrees F. again! The ups and downs of this season!

I wish you a beautiful week.

How lovely to have some meals your mom prepared with your siblings. Most have been special for her to have you all in a pew at church. Happy Birthday to your sweet granddaughter. You made it back home before it snowed in Seattle! Hope you have a good week.

I'm glad you had such a good time with your mom and sibs. Special times. It seems to early (to me) for fancy, blooming flowers already. But we are under snow and cold here.

My grandfather absolutely loved them.
Your granddaughter and your kitty are both too darn cute!!!
