A Small Hello

Just in case you didn't know about the fairy parties taking place while you are sleeping, I thought I'd give you a glimpse.  Isn't this adorable?  I found it on Pinterest.  I'm not sure who the artist is.

Here's another sweetie pie.

Because we have a houseguest I didn't want to sit in the family room where I usually knit in the morning, so I knit up in our bed.  Why have I not done this before?  It is perfectly cozy to knit on a bed!
I'm off to the mall to meet our Jenny and the girls.  We'll eat salads and then walk where it is COOL.  It is very hot here.  We ate outside on the patio last night and our Australian friend thought it felt wonderful (he's tired of winter down under) but I got a little too warm.  I like to walk at the mall when the shops are open.  I'll get some fancy shampoo while I'm there, because I have been using cheap stuff (smells good but isn't really good, you know?) and my hair is like hay.
I can't upload photos easily on the computer in my office, so I'll post again very soon.
I hope you are doing well, enjoying your summer (or your winter) and doing things that cause you to feel joyful and loved.  You are VERY loved, you know.

Hello from me to you nice lady! I love the fairy picture. I know they are busy while we aren't looking. It's been really hot here too so I walk outside in the early morning. Indoor walking by the shops sounds fun too! Sending my love.

Hello dear friend Pom Pom. Well I'll just bet your Australian visitor was loving all the warm weather & eating outside. I got up early this morning to light the fire ... it is SOooo cold here. But I remind myself it IS mid winter. Enjoy your knitting on the bed Xxx

Cool walking sounds about right; it's brutally hot with high humidity and winter sounds inviting.
I've got a wing chair in my bedroom and use that to read, knit, etc. but not in bed. Once I get in bed I want to sleep .

You have such a gift for making me smile. Why can't all blogs be like yours? Enjoy your knitting and your family. I so hate being hot too. I am hiding out in my cool box. :) Kit

Please let us know how the new shampoo works out; I need to upgrade to something a little nicer myself. My hair is changing as I get older and it's both hay-like and frizzy now. I love the hedgehog. I have a whole Pinterest board for small embroideries and I'm especially drawn to little animals like her. Hope you're having a good week!

Have a lovely time. I think its nice you go eat salads and walk with Jenni and the girls. Miss Tiggywinkle is always a nice picture to see. I love your fairy party too. I am sure they happen on every full moon.
Have a lovely time. I have done counted cross stitch when I have been under the weather in my bed and you are right, it is lovely.
Have a nice time with your friend from Down Under.

Sounds busy but very, very good. Keep cool -- the heat will break soon enough.

I often prop up in my bed and read, work on the computer or even just watch the telly. It really is relaxing to me and takes me out of the "active" part of the house.

I hope you had a great time at the mall and got the perfect shampoo! xo Diana

Hello PP so glad you popped in as I have missed your posts. Lovely fairy picture. We have been eating outside too it's just so hot in the UK and my garden has gone brown!

Indeed 'tis lovely and comfy knitting on a bed or for this Aussie girl, in a warm and cosy bed. Sweet picture of fairies. How lovely to be hot! It won't be too long and you will be feeling a lot cooler.

I thought about mall walking just this week when I dashed to town to shop. It's about 30 minutes away. It sure was cool, and bright, and level, and safe in there -- a good, free place to walk.

I often wish I could do things in bed like READ (esp.) or knit or watch movies. But after a bit my back starts to ache and my legs don't like being out straight. So I don't stay long. I do like reading while lying on my side before I go to sleep. Stay cool, Pom!

It's amazing about the shampoo. You really do get what you pay for. I use a brand somewhere in the middle, not too expensive, but I don't think I could ever go back to the cheap stuff again. My hair really does end up feeling like hay. lol. Sweetest wishes.

Even a small hello from you is special. The little fairies are so cute. If you find a special shampoo that will change hair from feeling like hay to feeling soft, please let me know the name. I could use a bottle. :)

Hi Pom Pom, Enjoy your company! You have found solutions to be productive even while they are there. It has been hot here also. Not much exercising except keeping up my little courtyard! Enjoy the rest of the week! Nancy

Hi there, Haven't been blogging for a while so I'm popping by to see how you are. Glad you're enjoying the summer with your house guest. I've recentlydiscovered crocheting in bed! sometimes I wake up earlier than Chris so I do some crochet until it's time to get up. Chris wakes up to find balls of wool all over the bed!!
