Lots of Stuff

"All in their places with bright shining faces!" AW!  These girlies graduated from their music program!  They are very musically smart now.  Smile.

Mitten work continuing!  The other side sports a big flub, but I'm learning!
Last week was COLD.  The wind blew like crazy.  I wore my cheap coat I bought. I like it but it's a little snug around the Winnie the Pooh area.
The Rockies are dazzling.  They don't look that far away, do they?
It's easier to walk now that I am a tad lighter.  Thud. Thud. Thud.  The sun is shining but it's still a bit brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I've been knitting and knitting.  I finished this vest/tank top and it fits okay.  I have it blocking on the foam puzzle pieces right now.
One of my very sweet friends sent me the little tag/card below.  She's so thoughtful and fun. I'm thankful for her!  We're going to write together and read together (and knit - she's learning!)
It makes me feel so good that Millie Rose wears her cardi that I finished for her.  (You know, the one that was started decades ago - for her MAMA?)
LOOK!  It's that time of year when if you run outside with your camera at just the right time, you can get a shot of AMAZING sky!
Here's a photo of a WISH for spring!  Wool cardi and wool posy.  Heather from Blackberry Rambles made this .  She's the best flower fairy I know.
Hi Cutie!  Shhhhhhh.  Tim's sleeping.  AGAIN.
Here I am holding Noah while he naps.  WHAT a treat.  I look serious, looking at my phone.
A friend and I went walking on our old trail, but we got a little lost because I led the way across what I thought was the right bridge.  Oh well.  We found our way back to our cars.  The road had been closed and in the meantime some new homes were built and these cute girls appeared!
Tim doesn't always sleep.  Sometimes he practices yoga moves.
Noah is on the move.  He loves to play on the treadmill (safety latch latched, don't worry).
And THIS little energizer bunny occasionally slows down to watch Mickey Mouse.
Another Noah nap.  Aw.  He is a cherub.

Sorry if you are afraid of THE CLAW.
Here's  a Weight Watcher din din.  My neighbor suggested the raw-then-roasted pecans for the sweet potato.  Yummy.  Turns out I really can't eat nuts even if they are raw and then roasted by me (it's supposed to help make them easier to digest).  They make me feel yucky.  Good thing I'm not a squirrel.
I finished my friend Elaine's hat!  It's so soft and stretchy.  The yarn is Knerdstring, dyed here in Colorado.  Elaine is through chemo and starting on radiation.  I hope she wears her hat to bed.  It's full of prayers.

This sweater is called the February Lady Sweater.  I gravitate to green.  Happy St. Paddy's Day soon!

Thank you for checking in.  I don't go to Blog Land every day so I miss some of your posts if you're a blogger.  I appreciate you coming by to say hello.  It's so nice of you.
Spring is coming.  The chickadees are hopping about, flying from twiggy tree to twiggy tree.  Soon I can plant the sweet peas.
What have you been up to?

I so enjoyed this post reading about your news and seeing your photographs.
I love the Spring and in my part of the UK it's been quite spring-like, so I made the most of it and enjoyed a walk in some sunshine ... I should have taken a camera!

Take care, my good wishes

All the best Jan

Hello Pom Pom, it's good to see you today. I love Millie Rose's cardigan, such a pretty colour.
So nice to read all about your happenings lately.

So warm and cozy here with your snuggles with grands, so many special knitting projects and of course your warm hearted words. Texas weather is crazy...90 one day and 40ish or colder the next. I'm learning to SPIN yarn. Got a spinning wheel and am having sooooo much fun. Not making sweater yarn, but more Art/Bulky stuff. Stop by and see some I have posted. Stay warm!

Oodles of yarny loveliness. Millie's cardie is sweet and I love the pattern on those mittens. I have a feeling all of that fruit and veggies will soon make the Winnie the Pooh area a little less snug. Amazing sky!!

I love stopping in and seeing what kinds of lovely things are going on in your neck of the woods. I can't believe how big the girls have got. I am so glad someone is getting to wear that sweater. That is such a cute picture. I love that picture of you holding Noah and I can see how skinny you are getting.
I am glad all is well.
I always enjoy your updates.

It's nice to catch up with you. As usual it's lovely to see Tim, especially his Yoga moves, lol. I love your well used bible. I'm afraid I never seem to write in mine. I probably should really, I may read it more and remember bits more. Prov 3 : 5-6 is my favourite verse I think. I can't eat the nuts either, too high fibre, not good. Your hat looks pretty. Lovely photos thanks for sharing, Cathy x

Darling mittens, flower and sweater! Lucky to have a friend like you and a pink hat now, too! And oh, those photos of you and Noah are so very precious. I know you treasure them now; both of you will later. Much joy,

I'm amazed that you have time to blog with all the knitting that you do. I see so much wool in those little cubby holes. You must keep the yar stores in business.
I love that picture of Millie Rose wearing the cardigan yo started to knit for her mother. It's beautiful and she has room to grow in it too.

Those pretty musical girls look so grown up all of a sudden and Noah is growing fast too.

I hope your friend Elaine makes a full recovery from her cancer. I'm sure she will love that beautiful hat.
What a gorgeous sky, thanks for sharing.
Happy knitting.
Hugs, Julia

Your little Timothy makes me giggle, doing yoga. That mitten -- amazing knitting skills, Pom! Truly very pretty. I want to see the finished mittens. I've slacked off a bit on my knitting, sorry to say. Your grandbabies are growing up so fast! I know they love having such a sweet grandma :)

Sweet sleeping babe photo. I was able to enjoy some of that this past weekend. When those little ones start moving they keep grannies in shape...yikes. You are doing well with WW...good for you. Congrats to the music girls. So cute!

Your fairisle mitten looks complicated and the lovely deep blue and white look so pretty, the odd flub I think is all part of something made with love rather than buying mass produced :) I got your letter, thank you - I will write back after my holiday next month then I will have something to tell you about! You are a great grandma, your little ones have so much fun with you.

Those grandgirls are growing up and looking so very "big girl." How? Love all your knitting. That mitten with the snowflake is amazing! How do you do that? Noah is so cute and so's sweet baby James. He's big too! I've been walking on our road to the mailbox again since the men cleared it of snow and it's warmed up. Sounds like snow is one the way again this weekend. BUT....spring is one the way, right?

Has Noah been taking napping lessons from Tim? They both look very content. I've been watching lots of knitting videos, but doing no knitting. I guess it's a spectator sport for me. ;)
Doing some drawing, painting and lots of reading.
Thanks for another fun look at the goings on in your life.
Those grands are so beautiful!
Don't get lost out there on the trail!
Hugs, friend!
