Nature Journal and Finish for the Weekend

Happy FALL!  I read somewhere that fall is the knitters season and I think it's true!  When the weather cools we can bundle up in wool makings.
Noah's birthday was fun!  He's one!

My birthday is Monday and I have received many early gifts.  I love this Willow Tree figurine that Jenny gave me.  TIM!

The grands have been waving the butterfly net around.  Speedy painted ladies!

Last Saturday we got to see these precious ones.  We saw all 11 grands last Saturday!
I pulled out the zucchini plants and picked some flowers.
Plum's birthday is today!  We went to the American Girl store on Wednesday.  Isn't the new American Girl doll pretty?
I made her try on her sweater (it was still damp from the blocking process).  CUTE little birthday girl!
Noah's birthday dinner was on Wednesday night.
This is my Finish for the Weekend this week!  Noah's birthday socks!

Today is our first nature journal day (Marcie and I and maybe YOU!)  Let me know if you posted a nature journal entry today and I'll add your link at the bottom.

I have a busy weekend over at Kelli's house.  Our renovations are going so well.  Almost done!  I'll take pictures when the furniture is in, the shower curtain is hung, and the window curtains are up!  It's so clean and fresh!
I hope you are happy that another lovely season is upon us.  I wish you snugness.
Pop over to see other nature journals!  I'll add them as I find them.

You've certainly had some sweet birthdays to celebrate. I have the same figurine holding the cat but my girl is sitting. Very cute. And you are a very good knitter. I guess practice does make perfect. I should find my needles again. ;-) Give Timothy a big hug from me. xo

I love fall, it's my favorite season. I am knitting two projects right now, a hat to match the sweater I just finished and finishing up my afghan. I'm almost there! I love Plum's sweater and Noah's socks... they will be warm and cozy this winter! Happy weekend!

September certainly is a month of birthday celebrations in your family. That's the way October is for us. Two of my children and a grand have birthdays and there are a couple of wedding anniversaries too.
The Willow Tree figurine is just so appropriate for you!!

Great birthday socks...so cute on him and hard to believe he's already 1! Yes to Autumn but it's still in the 80's here so not hurrying to get out the yarn and needles. I need to...Christmas Mother has asked for scarves and I've two little girls to make hats/scarves to help keep them warm in their cold farm house.
Early birthday greetings, Karen, may you spend it enjoying many blessings.

Happy birthday to you! WHen birthdays are surrounded by those we love and good company what else really is there that we need? I love the willow Tree figurines. I have this one too, received it when my boy Boots passed away. My first one was the Kitchen angel with green teapot. Loved it so much. Our youngest Hannah, a quiet but thoughtful girl. THanks for visiting me. I have been trying to figure out the new blog because I keep getting emails saying the google following takes them to a virus page! Yikes! I think I solved it as ZI went there to follow myself at the new blog. LOL! Oh the things I do to stay sane!
Your photos are wonderful! We have a cooler day, lots of rain yesterday and this morning. It is a nice change.
Getting ready for our middle girls Dec 2 wedding. So much to do!
Thank you and have a blessed day.

Hi, dear. Here's my latest autumn journal post: http://mkatchris.blogspot.com/2017/09/autumn-journaling-sept-28th.html

Not sure if that's how you wanted me to give it to you, or if there's a linking procedure I'm supposed to do. Thanks :)
