Spring Things

Thank you so very much for all your comments on my last post.  Sheep.  I'm still thinking about them and looking at them.
I ordered some more colorful yarn, the kind I am using to make myself a striped sweater.  I think I might look funny in this brightly colored pullover, but the colors line up so cheerfully.
Everyone around here is eating eggs.  I keep buying more.  They are DELICIOUS!

I wanted to show you this gingham rose garland I've had for a million years.  My friends wrapped it around a gift basket handle for me and just the other day I unwound it.  Isn't it funny how we tend to ignore things but if we move them around, we notice the sweetness once again?
The camera on my phone made this mountain view look nice, didn't it?
Last year I bought a handful of bunnies for the grands, but this year I would like to give them something else.  Sheep.  There aren't very many sheep to buy at my regular shopping spot (the grocery store).
Comic relief:  James eating his foot
I can't wait to see Cinderella!  I am so happy to see Downton Abbey's "Rose" as the star!  The dolls at the Disney Store are VERY pretty.  I tagged along because Kelli had some returns to deal with.  Millie and I watched movies.
 A friend recommended this:
The weather was warm today.  No coat.  No socks. The photo below is old, but I LOVED that pair of shoes and those pants!  The sweater, too!  I wore them completely out - so springy and happy!

Realistically, we'll have more of these kind of days before we have gardening days, but I'm grateful for THIS day!

I wish you birds at your feeder, melting snow, tea with sunbeams shining on your face, maybe a nice carwash, and Easter anticipation.
Thank you VERY much for popping in!

Love your heart vignette with the Rejoice Always sign. Too funny seeing your grand eating his foot. LOL! I like the idea of giving sheep or lambs instead of bunnies at Easter...

I love your balls of yarn.......

Yours is a colorful environment. I like the Easter candy, they are great for Easter Egg Hunt and Your little grandson eating his foot. The snow covered tree picture is breath taking.

Well I got the car wash free this week(after parting with £700 for repairs!), sunbeams - a few, tea plenty, birds at the feeder (but the squirrel broke it and took the entire fat block a few days back so they are waiting and making me feel guilty for not replacing) but no snow - I remember one year freezing some snow in a food box for our boys - and taking it out when it became sunny! wish someone could send me a box now!

There have been a lot of adverse comments in the British press about the size of 'Cinderella's' waist. It's felt that young girls will try to emulate the extreme slenderness.

the new "Cinderella" film! ohyes!

did you see my Banner picture today--- 3/12/15. I say today, because I change my Banner, so frequently. -grin-

anyway, it's of the carriage, and it is fantastic.

I came across a faerie tale blog post, showing costumes from that film. and I was hooked. :-)

but of course, the actress could not consume solid food, when trussed up in that costume. hmmmmmmm....

here is a link, to the post, with interesting pics/info. :-)

I love those shoes, too! Sometimes I see pictures of old clothes I loved and I can't remember why I let them go ... probably because they got torn up and ragged, but still. Today I'm going to go through all my shoes and toss the ones that don't bring me joy. Yikes!

I got the carwash free this week because it was on a 'buy two, get one free' offer! It's a cold, wet, miserable night here and I've already got my jammies on waiting for 'The Good Wife' to come on. Thank goodness for your cheery post. James is totally scrumptious! Thanks also for the heads-up on Cinderella - not sure when it starts over here but it's now on my list. Have a great weekend, my friend. xxx

Washed my car yesterday! Had to wait in line, so I enjoyed a cup of coffee and some Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Sandwich cookies. :)
I got Audrey and Hazel stuffed kitties. They're very soft. I'm saving them for when their mom is at the hospital having their baby sister.
Wishing cups of sunshiny tea for you, too! lol!

Lambs are hard to find. I saw a few cute ones on Amazon.

The Cinderella movie does look good. I hope it is.

Happy Spring.

the icy branches against the blue/white sky is beautiful! I can't remember which one Rose is...? I can still touch my foot to my nose, not bad for an old broad, eh? Go ahead, make the sweater of many colors; it'll look wonderful on you!

Those shoes and pants do look nice, like you're just on your way out the door to do some friendly gardening :) We have rain and cold right now, but should warm up again next week. Can't wait to see your sweater progress -- I love to see other people's tricky knitting work! :)
