Too Hot

It's very hot here!  The weather app says that it is 93 degrees, but it feels hotter.  I'm still recovering from all the hustle and bustle.
It's a good day to float in a pool.  Don't you love this pink pool? We had it a few summers ago.  It popped.

I've been doodling and painting a bit.  This is a scribble from my archives.
I'm having a little Harriet the Spy festival all by myself.  I'm reading it (it's one of my top five) and I can listen to it, too.  I also like to watch the film.  Harriet is a superb character.  Have you read Harriet the Spy?
In fact, right this moment I am going to pick up my pen and write some observations in my journal.  Bye!

You know that is one I have never read nor have I seen the movie.
I know the girls read it and watched the movie.
It is hot here too. I need to go outside again. :( Have a wonderful evening. I hope it cools off.

We had our hot day yesterday (91) and we did spend the majority of the day floating in the pool. I'm wanting to reread the Little House on the Prairie books... keep cool!

Hot here too. Too bad the pool popped. It was so cheerful and cute.
Love your little drawing.
I can't see Harriet the Spy without thinking of my brother. He was obsessed with the book when he was in elementary school. We jokingly called him Harriet for a few years.

Your pink pool is so cute, and now I want to read Harriet the Spy.

It's nice and summery here, but not quite hot enough for me to overindulge on ice cream - I know I should be glad for that.

It is warming up nicely here. I see TexWisGirl says it was 98 and so I guess that is about what it was here, too. I've been sitting outside every morning for a couple of hours acclimating. Stay cool!

Yes, a float in the pool would be lovely, haven't heard of Harriet the Spy - saw someone reading in the Sauna the other day, hadn't thought of that!

I'm so glad it hasn't been nearly so hot this summer as some former summers. Not going to complain about 70 degrees today!
I haven't written in my journal for a bit. Sounds like a good idea. I'll have to check out Harriet the Spy, because you seem to like it quite a lot.
I keep a pitcher of iced tea in my fridge all summer, and sometimes into the winter. The best refreshment ever! Stay cool, my friend, and keep on doodling!

Hot here, too. We are praying for rain and a cooling down.

I love Harriet the Spy so much. I haven't seen the movie, because I'm afraid of what they might have done to my story.

Stay cool, my dear!

I guess it's hot everywhere these days. We just got back from a trip to pick our cherries and it was 36 or 37 degrees C which must be close to a hundred in F. In any case it was HOT. The cherries were just hanging there in huge clumps and we couldn't stop picking in spite of the heat. Ended up with over 50 pounds!

I'll have to go see if I can find Harriet on Netflix. What a good idea! Our weather has turned a bit cool for July, for which we're thankful. So glad you are drawing and painting. How relaxing that is!
