Lizzy and Sam like to dig! On occasional sunny days, we have lovely hints of the gardening fun to come!
On Sunday I worked on my ripples. This is going to be my first adventure in yarn bombing. I need to double it in size and then it's going to be a scarf for the pine tree trunk.
The forsythia was simply sticks a week ago and now it's GORGEOUS!
I've been swamped with busy moments and today is the party for the people at work who are turning 50 this year. It's in my classroom after school. We'll have homemade cakes and balloons, music from 1964 and hopefully the half-century milestone peeps will feel loved because THEY ARE loved. Smile.
I hope things are simple and meaningful in your moments today.
Thank you for popping your head in to say hello. I appreciate it very much.

that's a nice reason to party!
Love the pic of the girls digging in the dirt....looks like they were having a ball!
Can't believe Lizzy has grown so much and already digging in the garden.
Your party sounds fun with cakes and music at school. I just know YOU had a big hand in the planning!

My youngest sister wanted to have music from 1954 at my bit of a do for my birthday....I said 'don't you dare'! Would love to come to one of your parties, Pom. I dig your little diggers too! Oh, and the lovely ripples, naturalement!xxx
Spring is springing in a most colorful way at your place.

Lizzy is getting big. I think I spotted a forsythia bush in our neighborhood. It isn't something we see a lot here but this was a riot of golden yellow.
Isn't it fun watching kids dig? They can spend an hour just digging in the dirt.
You're so nice to give those half centenarians a party! What a treat.
Simply and meaningful. That sums up your blog and why I love stopping by, it reminds of those two important aspects of life.
YOU amaze me with your joy and your endless spirit and enthusiasm.
I wish that for every one of our beloved teachers!
Love,
Sharon
